Blepharoplasty Is One Of The Best Anti-aging Procedures Because The Eye Area Ages Faster Than Others

The area around the eyes ages more definitively than many other areas of your face. The muscles around the upper eyelids lose some of their elasticity and begin to droop, causing the eyes to appear tired. Areas of fat tissue underneath your eyes may also become more pronounced, leading to puffiness. Plastic surgeons use blepharoplasty to tighten the muscles around your eyelids and remove the excess fat tissue, thereby opening your eyes and creating a younger appearance that looks completely natural. Many plastic surgeons provide exceptional patient recovery care.

Your goals will be discussed realistically with a plastic surgeon. Blepharoplasty is often performed in conjunction with other facial surgeries. Together you will decide which procedures your surgeon will perform in order to achieve your desired results. You will set a date for surgery and be given instructions on how to prepare.

Your eyelid lift cosmetic surgery is performed under local anesthesia. For the upper eyelid, the plastic surgeon makes incisions following the natural lines of your eyelids. The surgeon will generally conceal the incision within the natural fold of your upper eyelid. He then removes any excess skin and fatty tissue.

For a lower eyelid cosmetic procedure, the plastic surgeon often conceals an incision below your lower lashes. Through this incision, he or she removes any excess skin, muscle, and fat. In some cases, the surgeon may redistribute this fat to eliminate puffiness or bulges around your eyes. Many plastic surgeons work with a board certified operating team. Following your blepharoplasty procedure you can anticipate a rapid recovery rate with a plastic surgeon’s extensive post-operative care program. You will have access to a vitamin regimen, a personal nurse, and your surgeon will check on you mornings and afternoons. Lymphatic massage is available at your request.

Plastic surgeons sometimes perform a brow lift in conjunction with eyelid surgery. A brow lift is used to tighten the skin of your forehead, removing your “frown lines” and wrinkles and helping to create a more youthful appearance. A forehead lift or brow lift can help restore vibrancy to your face. Natural-looking results virtually undo the unwanted effects of time.

Your forehead lift will be performed under general anesthesia administered by a board certified anesthesiologist. The duration of brow lift cosmetic surgery depends upon which procedures the surgeon is performing. They will either use the classic method or the endoscopic method to tighten your brow. Both procedures involve inconspicuous incisions in the hairline. The plastic surgeon will then tighten your brow skin and remove any excess tissue that causes drooping. He or she will then reset your brow line so that it can heal. Just like with eyelid surgery, you will have access to a vitamin regimen, a personal nurse, have two nurses caring for you, and your surgeon will check on you mornings and afternoons.

omg like 4 months ago I put acne free oil wash underneath my eyes to see if it would tighten up some wrinkles and it did, I left it on overnight and my eyes were swollen and underneath was burned, now i just realized the skin under there is all rough and unsmooth, i ruined the skin underneath my eyes, can plastic surgery fix it? omg!

I know this is an under eye cream but maybe it will work for you:
      http://www.tcclinic.com/cosmeticshop/dark-circle-diminishing-eye-cream-p-14.html
It’s recommended by plastic surgeons, so it’s better than the rest of the eye creams on the market. If creams don’t help, you can visit an aesthetician and she will tell you what you can do (microdermabrasion therapy).
It should heal in time but don’t try experimenting again :p

  11. QUESTION:
How to get rid of annoying lines (dimples?)?
So I have these dimples about an inch under each eye. When I smile they are sort of okay looking, but when I stop smiling you can still sort of see them and they make it look like I have these weird bags under my eyes. I was wondering if there were any masks or products or anything I could use to tighten the skin there or make them go away (I’m 14, so please don’t suggest surgery!)

PS: Please don’t tell me how cute they are and how I’m blessed with them, etc. They make me look tired and they’re really bad looking, trust me.

Thanks so much for your help!

EVERYONE in my family has two eyelid even almost perfect eyelid crease execpt me ): i hate it becuase it looks like i have O_o that kind of eye, and i know why my right eyelid isn’t as big as my left it’s becuase i have this extra eyelid skin folding over my my actual eyelid near the lash line. If i open my eyes big my left eyelid looks as if it get’s sucked in under my brow bone while my right has a random extra skin and no tucking under my brow bone like the left. I really hate it, i want surgery but i’m scaired. 13. QUESTION:
How can I get rid of these lines on my face?
I’m a sixteen year old girl, and call me paranoid but this is really starting to annoy me. My eyes look very similar to the woman’s on the top picture:
    http://www.drsimoni.com/faceimage/Gk.jpg

Do you see the lines on either side of her nose bridge? I have those and they really stand out, because my eyes are quite sunken in and have dark circles under them (exactly like hers). It’s hereditary, so it’s not due to lack of sleep and I can’t get rid of them. Is there any way to get rid of them without using too many facial creams/eye creams?
Also, from childhood I’ve had chubby-ish cheeks, and now I’m starting to kind of lose weight off them, but now my skin looks sallow and my cheeks, especially the area around my mouth (in the hollows when you suck in your cheeks, when I suck in my cheeks they feel fine, but once I blow the air out the skin feels quite loose and not firm at all.My skin looks unhealthy and tired, but that may be due my poor diet as well. ANY way at all to tighten and firm my cheeks and make my face look slimmer and tighter without surgery? Like facial exercises…
Help would be fantastic, thank you.
Oh and please don’t use this justto advertise skin products or websites, that’s useless to me.

    • ANSWER:
If I was you I would change your diet and start eating more healthy..more fruit n veg etc. Cucumber juice improves elasticity in the skin…try this & try eating more Avocados..they are great for healthy skin as they contain lot of vitamin E. You could try using an eye gel..maybe try Clinique under eye cream..or or Lancome has one for fine lines and dark circles with vitamins..it’s pretty good

  14. QUESTION:
After an ACD & F spinal diskectomy I have progressively added so many symptoms of numbness, weakness and pain.?
I had the surgery on my neck C5-C6, in ’06 and pain started in my right bi-cep with aching pain that burned too.The pain kept me from using that arm,so I went in and had a series of three nerve blocks, they called them ESI’s.The first two were given in my Cervical, but the last one I had was in the Thoracic and that one something was hit, in my back and I jumped on the table like I was electrocuted.Ever since that day,I have been numb in my hands and feet.I am progressing though and it is moving to every part of my body.
I am mostly confined to laying back for that relieves the pressure that I feel, but can walk for short periods, but have to make myself do it. I am only 45,always have been active my whole life and it is hard to be stuck in bed, where most people think it is wonderful, Yeah, for short periods, but not made to just stay there because your legs hurt(under the knees mostly)to where my feet are sore, numb and painful.I hurt in my back(have been dx with disc problems at T8-T11,but one NL told me that it was out of his area of expertise and didn’t really know what that was.He just put disk herniation with hypertrophy at T10-T11.I just know that I can’t twist around to reach or I will yelp with a catch and it feels so tight there.I did feel a pulsating area in my back at one time.IT felt like how a boo-boo throbs after you have sliced your finger open with a tremor in it. STRANGE.
My neck always hurts like a vice-grip has it telling me how I can turn.I do have good movement with range, but shoulders are sore and have been told that my right is bone on bone.I don’t know if that is true, but it grinds and pops out of place a lot. I have to admit that I know this is a lot, but IT is ALL real.I must say that I have always felt it was from my surgery because I was told I had a screw on top of a nerve, but NS says that everything looks fine to him, but I don’t feel fine.
I have even been having episodes of heart racing, hard to breath issues and wonder if the place where I was hit maybe has grown into the sternum area because where the pulsating place was that hurts all the way through and I can’t even touch my sternum sometimes. My mom thinks it is my hernia. IT could be, but it feels like a band that tightens up around my waist. It is over 35 inches. I think it is 36 or 37 and I wonder if that could be a prominant symptom.
Here are all of the symptoms that I have been experiencing that start with the worse symptoms first: Numbness that seems to have enveloped my entire left side now and it stays that way(my face feels like Novacane has been shot in my cheeks and jawbone),pain underneath my knees is always tender and achy, weakness that makes me feel like my arm/hand is heavy, burning feeling of skin that can be in sheets or patches, achiness-anywhere, pin/needles in hands/feet, tremors/spasms-anywhere,have pains on my temple area that hit hard sometimes and have seen lights,at one time, eyes do go completely blurry really fast that even my glasses won’t help, fatigue hits because I don’t sleep but 4-5 hrs.a night, abdomen feeling swollen, whole left side paralysis of my arms/legs for a period of time and my body has these little tiny pimple-like places that I think are definitely connected, they are so little in places, but a little round ball with come out if pressed, some come out like a string.I have had places come up that are like dry patches that just peel like a sunburn would, but it isn’t a sunburn. My eyes also feel dry and my sinus are really bad, they always have some kind of film or white like film that you can’t blow out(gross),but it is clear with no apparent color, but clear or white.
I am at my wits end with this stuff and just want some kind of clue to what others think this could be. I have had surgery on my left jaw in the ear area to get a bone spur removed and that is what was removed from my neck*(ruptured petrusion) and I did have Endometriosis that I heard was an unbias disease. All I do know is that my brain hurts,my neck hurts, my back hurts and legs. I can’t use my arms and legs to reach, pull, push or HOLD for that matter, I have to really concentrate to keep it in my hand and my left arm/hand has a shake to it whether or not I use it sometimes, but not always. I have left you with more than enough info and sorry it has so much to go through, but wanted to be as thorough as I could. I will be happy with any info that you can give me on what you can come up with that is. I know I am a complicated case and a MYSTERY DX I must add.Thank you so very much for your help and consideration for my misery.:)))<3 Karen, stuck in Arkansas with not much help around . PS.Could it be from the surgery?Could it be from where I was hit in the back with a nerve block? or some kind of Autoimmune disorder because of tick bite I got 3yrs. ago? Thanks again.:)))

    • ANSWER:
It is most unfortunate to read Ur complexity symptoms after accident + surgery.

Even after spending billions of dollars in research, Allopathy could not understand “the Human Brain” fully. The unknown parts/functions are more than the known. Spinal cord is an extension of brain. Hence, no neuro-surgeon can give any guarantee of results.
Due to jumping, infections, long jumps, high jumps, lifting heavy weights alone [more common amongst ladies to lift a big bucketful of water, or a rice bag, climbing steps with big water tumblers due to domestic exigencies], inter-vertebral disc [just like a washer between two iron rings to hold them together] gets displaced and results in prolapse. The disc is full of nerve connections. Depending upon the location of disc prolapse, one may have severe lumbar pain [lower back-ache], cervical spondylytis/losis, sciatica pain, etc.
U may try to see an acupressure therapeutist or an acupuncturist for perceivable relief and to rebuild Ur immunity.
