How to Make the Most of Your Closet Rod

Most people would love to buy a fancy closet system. Oh, how wonderful it would be to have endless storage and a place for everything to go! Put your work clothes on one side and your casual clothes on the other. Divide up the groups by length and type of clothing. You can even organize by color if you choose. Whatever you do, it won’t take but about five minutes to tackle.
3) Find ways to keep the closet clutter free. Hang a hook in an inconspicuous spot inside of your closet. Hang a plastic grocery bag or trash bag there. When you run across clothing that you’ve decided to not wear again, toss them into the bag instead of storing them back inside of your closet like you normally would. Maybe you wore a shirt that you thought you liked, but were constantly pulling at it all day, or it just has an itchy feel to it. Just make a point to continually get rid of clothing that you don’t really need.
4) Make space in the closet using clothes hangers. You can make the most space on your closet rod by using different types of hangers. Hangers designed for certain items also keep them from becoming misshapen. You can purchase shirt hangers, skirt hangers, pants hangers, and dress hangers to keep your clothing nice and neat inside of the closet.

As an organizer, I'm always looking for unique solutions so I am open to hearing about products. In response to this closset post, I received a reply with links to a site for a hanger that holds 12 garments. I am going to relate my experience in using this type of product.
My work in people's closets show that they can't or won't use multiple hangers. Many people can't lift a hanger with 12 pairs of slacks on it. One side of the hanger will always be facing the back of the closet, where you can't easily access the garments on it. Even if the top of the hanger swiveled, it would be difficult as you'd need a 2-3 foot wide empty area of your closet in order to spin it around. If you remove a pair of slacks, from the center of the bars, it is very difficult to rehang them after you have worn them as the weight of the garments above and below them make it difficult – which explains why I find multiple hanger products in closets of clients and they will be either empty or just holding one or two garments.
Tank tops are a difficult item to store when hung by their spaghetti straps. The solution is to hang them by their hems using skirt hangers with clips.
As for slacks, if you use pant hangers and clip them by their hems, they take up much less room than folded over a hanger.
If your closet space is tight, decide what doesn't need to hang. For example, jeans and sweatshirts take up a lot of room but they do not wrinkle and handle being folded very well.

lock everything that's yours and ask your mom to make your sis keep her area clean (she's seriously old enough now to clean her room) if that doesnt work then just give it up and make sure your area stays clean even if hers doesnt
