Lagt de "litt" bort – de henger ikke på knaggen i gangen, men er ikke båret ned i boden! #kompromiss #påsyltynnis
I do normally buy from charity shops and have done for a long time. Part of the problem I have is finding clothes to fit, the mens clothes are normally huge on me.
There is also alot of wasted time in going to charity shops, I have found some real bargains over the years but that was when I was at uni and passed them every day. I would have to take a bus to the town now and risk not finding a thing, then having to go again and again to find something.
That coupled with the fact that I hate shopping means that, when I have to I want it to be quick and painless.:)
As for asking around everybody knows I'm a bit of a Steptoe round here so I'm never short of offers for stuff but with clothes it's all about size.
Yep, your right. Girls have earned the right to wear men's clothes or anything they want. They earned that back in the 50's and 60's. After that men earned the right to let their hair grow longer and wear earrings and jewelry. But men never ventured as far as wearing skirts and dresses. Men are still subject to the tyranny of trousers.
It just a matter of social convention. Society looks to its youth to challenge social convention and expand our tolerances and freedoms. It would take a youth movement to challenge the limitations on men's clothing.
Dresses show off more of your body. If guys wore dresses they would have to be more concerned with their appearances. There wouldn't be so many over-weight, hairy, ugly men around. They would be more lean hard-bodies out there. I say the time is now. Why should girls have more freedoms and rights than boys? This is about freedom people! Lets get our brothers and boyfriends to boldly venture out in frilly clothes.
