Get Rid Of Eye Wrinkles Permanently Using Only Natural Treatment

Don't let eye wrinkles give away your age, learn to fight the aging process and get smooth younger looking skin in no time.

Wrinkles are very annoying and no one wants to see them, however sometimes it seems almost impossible to erase them without cosmetic surgery or other harsh treatment.

I have found a solution to get rid of eye wrinkles without having to worry about any dangerous and expensive treatment. Wrinkles are caused mainly because as you get older you begin to produce less collagen and elastin proteins which makes your skin appears very healthy. Is it possible to get rid of eye wrinkles safely and effectively without spending too much?

You certainly can! First let me explain to you what other reasons are responsible for wrinkles besides the loss of collagen and elastin,

1. Sun exposure: Excess UV exposure leads to free radical which breaks down the ability of your skin to heal and repair itself. It also leads to the breakdown collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid.

2. Hydration: Water is life. That saying is so true. Water helps to keep your skin hydrated and supple. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily will not only help your skin but also help your body eliminate toxins.

3. Diet: Your diet is essential to healthy skin. The foods you eat will impact how you look. Eating high antioxidant foods such as brightly colored fruits, vegetables, nuts and fish will enhance your health and appearance.

4. Exercise: Without daily exercise your body and skin will pay the price. Your skin will say and gradually you will begin to look and feel terrible.

5. Skin care products: Using skin care products containing harsh chemical substances will cause more damage. Look for natural products containing active, cutting edge ingredients.

Natural eye wrinkle serum should contain specifically formulated ingredients that can actually address the major cause of wrinkles. Look for these specific ingredients that have been scientifically proven to work: Eyeliss, HomeoAge, and Haloxyl. There three ingredients were made to be used on the delicate skin around the eyes without causing any harmful side effects.

By implementing a healthy lifestyle and using natural eye wrinkle serum you should be on your way to beautiful, younger looking eyes in no time.

The delicate skin underneath your eyes are often the first places on your face where wrinkles begin to appear. Don't freak out about them or start wearing dark sunglasses to hide your face wherever you go. Make them disappear with a few simple tips to get smooth, youthful looking eyes.

Protect Yourself From The Sun

In fact, avoid the direct sun light and tanning booths. Any ultraviolet rays will give you tough leathery skin and wrinkles if you overexpose yourself. Gather together sunscreen before going sunbathing. Try a self tanning cream, and skip the beach and tanning booth altogether. Because of so many great bronzers in the marketplace, why not try a Fake Bake Tan? Protect yourself from the sun's harmful rays and your skin with thank you for it.
Avoid Dehydration

Stay well hydrated. Water is the perfect drink to stay healthy and hydrated. Drink 8 to 10 eight ounce glasses of water, and even more if you are exercising. If you want to add a little lemon or lime juice in addition to ice to your water, all the better. Vitamin C is great for the skin.

Get More Rest

Among the best ways to keep wrinkles at bay is to get plenty of sleep. Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night, and turn off the lights and television to experience the deepest rest possible. You want to wake refreshed and more beautiful each day.

Stay Away From Vices

Alcohol, smoking, and pollution will all make you old before your time. In more ways than just wrinkles, alcohol and smoking are really bad for your health. They will eventually ruin your health and your natural beauty. Chemical pollutants are harmful and toxic to the body. Your skin, hair, and nails are especially vulnerable and will be the first indications of possible health problems.

You can combat under eye wrinkles with some smart common sense solutions. Take good care of your body, and your true beauty will always shine through.

What Sort and Size Eye Wrinkles Do You Have? Crows Feet or Eagles Claw

Men over 50 tend to get more and deeper crows feet eye wrinkles, bags and undereye wrinkles as they keep aging. In my case they are more like deep eagles claws that run all the way down to my chin. So what can you do about improving them?

First - start using a moisturizing cream twice a day morning and night on freshly cleaned skin. I bet if I asked one hundred men over 50 how many of them moisturize their face twice a day - what do you think the answer would be? Probably one or maybe two more than zero.

We older men just aren't used to taking care of our facial skin. We have never got into the habit of doing so. The nearest most of us have come, is splashing after-shave on after scratching half our face off with a bunt 3 blade razor. So moisturizing is the first very important step to looking after our facial skin.

Second - find a good quality anti aging, anti wrinkle natural skin care cream and eye gel. The eye gel is important for undereye wrinkles and sagging bags. It is designed specifically for this more sensitive facial area.

Now, if your prepared to start a daily skin care regime you want to get a good quality range of natural skin care products that will do more than just moisturize around your eyes and face.

Recently after a lot of researching on the Internet. I found a new range of natural skin cream for men, you more than likely have never heard of them. This small company has some great innovative skin care creams. I now practice what I preach, and have not missed a day using their men's eye gel and active facial fluid since I started a short time ago. No - my eagle's claw eye wrinkles have not vanished overnight, nor did I expect them to.

What has happened to my surprise is my skin's now well moisturized, not dry and itchy any more. It feels softer, smoother and looks healthier. My undereye wrinkles seem less baggy and don't look to sag down quite as much. It's only early days yet, I imagine it will take 2 to 3 months to notice any great improvement in the wrinkles, but I'm very encouraged by the results so far.

These new eye wrinkle creams include ingredients that can actually stimulate regrowth of both collagen and elastin. These two proteins are responsible for your skin cell structure and it's elasticity. Increasing the volume of both will help reduce deep wrinkles and remove fine lines.

A good quality undereye wrinkle cream also needs to contain natural essential oil moisturizing ingredients like jojoba, grapeseed and avocado oils. Also don't forget your face and eye wrinkles need to be hydrated, so drink plenty of water each day, without the Scotch whisky included if you can manage it!

Finally, if your over 50 and haven't used skin moisturizing cream before, start a daily skin care routine as soon as you can. It will make a big difference to your eye wrinkles and sagging bags under your eyes when you get into your 60's. I know it's worth it, because the increase in wrinkles and depth I have experienced from my 50's to 60's is substantially more than I ever expected.

You can learn more about these ingredients at my website below.

 QUESTION:
How do I minimize eye-bags and wrinkles under my eyes?
I am a male who will be turning 40 next year. Like everyone, I am experiencing more intense signs of aging than in the past. My concern is the bags and wrinkles under my eyes. The skin became thinner and, especially when I smile or laugh, it forms lots of wrinkles. I was wondering if there are any traditional or non-traditional remedies out there that can be used. Is there anything that I miss in my diet? I drink about 3 beers everyday, is that a contributor too? I am going through a separation also. Is my skin ever going to rejuvenate? I hate to think of Botox or cosmetic surgery, but is that a viable, non-risky solution ultimately? I have been using a non-prescription L'Oreal eye wrinkle-reduction cream for many months now, but it doesn't seem to help a lot.

 QUESTION:
What is the most gentlest and best concealer to cover up under eye bags and wrinkles?
I live in Wales in the UK, can anyone recommend the most gentlest and best concealer to cover up under eye bags and wrinkles, as I find the ones I use make them look worse and you have to pull the under eye skin to put them on. thank you

 ANSWER:
The trick is not about what you use to cover your circles but how you cover them. Use a light liquid concealer (mac has an excellent liquid one) or use the mousse one from maybelline. i find that both work well but i prefer mac.
Before you conceal rub an ice cube under and around your eyes while wrapped in a thin towel. I find using frozen tea bags or thin cold potato slices work better for me. I put the over my eyes for about ten minutes (if you wanna save time do this while on the potty) and then rinse with regular water.
your eye bags would have reduced by now and you can apply the concealer easily.
I also find that applying then with a sponge rather than with a brush/fingers works better and I get no lines or anything else.
Hope I helped.

 QUESTION:
what causes eye wrinkles and bags ?
I'm 20 years old guy and my eye looks like a 50 years old. Firstly wrinkles under my eyes are increasing daily besides the crow feet. Also there is bags under my eyes and the eye it self looks red. I want to know why is that and how to reduce them also I heard some experts saying that certain signs on human look gives us other sign that there is other problem inside and deeper, just silly example not for sure : having bags under the eyes tells us the that persons kidney's has something wrong with it. Is that right?

 ANSWER:
There is probably nothing wrong with your kidney.

However, there are two major reasons why one may have wrinkles or "bags" under their eyes.

The first and most common is old age and loss of elasticity in the skin.

The second is simple stress or lack of sleep. The simplest solution to this is to get to sleep earlier so you can sleep longer. If this is not an option, however, (aka, if you're in college) a nice under-eye cream meant to tighten up the skin under your eyes works wonders for many people.

I have linked a few good sites where you can purchase such creams. Any cream with vitamin K is usually pretty good for tightening up the skin, releasing the wrinkles and lightening up the skin if you have dark circles under your eyes too.

This could be something wrong with your kidneys, but I highly doubt it. If you're worried about it you should certainly check with your doctor.

 QUESTION:
Under eye wrinkles and bags?!?
Hey everyone! I'm only 13, turning 14 soon, and I've always had really noticeable under eye bags. In the past year, I started applying concealer to them to make them a lot less noticeable. It helps a ton! But now that I've been using it for a few months, I have a few wrinkles! When I don't wear concealer, my under eye bags look horrible, so I can't stop wearing it. Also, the wrinkles aren't from applying eyeliner under my eye or anything like that, I don't wear eyeliner. The only makeup I wear is tinted moisturizer, concealer, and mascara. So is it the concealer causing these wrinkles? It's only under my eyes and I hate them! I don't get much sleep because of all my homework and studying, so that's probably why I have bags in the first place. What natural at-home remedies can I use to cute my under eye bags and, most importantly, my premature wrinkles? Would applying moisturizer daily under my eyes reduce the wrinkles? Any help would be very much appreciated! Kisses everyone! ^_^
Also, I take very good care of my skin and wash all of my makeup off every night and do acne treatments, exfoliate, etc.

 ANSWER:
yes moisturizer works well, but u have to keep it up. and if it doesnt work after a couple of days have some patients and eventually it will start to work. and as for the type of moisturizer, i have found that the more generic and cheaper brands work. and i no this is retarded, but i have also tried putting a little conditioner instead of moisturizer and it works if u wanted to try that.
i really hope this helps! and good luck

 QUESTION:
How does one hide wrinkles or bags under the eye?
I have a friend who Is 43 and loves to where make up ...but she needs me to do her make up for her,That I can do but can never accomplish the bags and wrinkles under her eyes ????
Can anyone help

 ANSWER:
i use a light blend of concealer, and then set the concealer with a light powder.

loreal true match has an excellent concealer that hides anything.. but does not crease! just put two dots underneath your eye, then blend in by patting under your eye *gently*. after that get a small brush and dab only a *little* bit of powder on top. this adds extra coverage while setting the concealer as well.

fyi: any pressed powder will do. i use neutrogena because it's very light and won't irritate the skin! always remember, less is more! i cannot stress that enough!! too much will make your wrinkles stand out.. and cause your eye to crease. ;o)

 QUESTION:
Vitamin E for under eye wrinkles/bags?
I'm 25 Y.O and I want to find a really good moisturizer at night for my eye area to prevent future aging and wrinkles. Is this the best way to go for that face area, or do you receommend something else?

 ANSWER:
Vitmain E is good for skin and hair, so yes, go for it! But one thing a lot of people don't know, is that the WAY you apply creams and makeup can increase your chances of getting wrinkles.

When applying creams and concealers to your eyes, don't rub them and pull at your skin - that stretches it and causes it to strain and lose its elasticity, eventually causing wrinkles. Dab them on instead with your finger and leave them to soak in naturally

The Body Shop do a great Vitamin E range too! And Avocado oil is full of it, so consdier making a face mask out of avocado too

 under eye bags/wrinkles?!!?
ok i am barely 20...having dark circles and wrinkles under my eyes is not alright! please recommend the best serums or under eye treatments you can think of...preferably drug store, but something found at sephora would be alright too, just nothing outrageously expensive! something less than 30-40 bucks would be ideal. THANK you!

oh and the eyebags aren't caused from lack of sleep or anything, it's my own fault for always rubbing at my eyes and basically just not being gentle with the skin around my eyes. am trying to remedy this, but in the meantime i could really use a good serum! i'm afraid to not wear my glasses because they're so prominent!

 ANSWER:
Here are some home remedies that you could try:

Slice cucumber into thick slices. Cucumber slices have long been used to reduce puffiness and refresh the appearance of skin around the eyes, providing a fast "pick-me-up" for tired and puffy eyes. Place a slice over each eye, extending over the darkened area. Do this daily, coupled with lying down for 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.

Apply cool tea bags or an ice cube wrapped in soft cloth to your eyes daily. The tannin in tea bags reduces swelling and discoloration. Lie down, preferably in the morning, and leave the fresh, cool, damp, caffeinated tea bags (you can refrigerate them overnight so they’ll be ready) over your eyes for about 10-15 minutes. Keep your eyes closed.

Pour a saline solution (2 cups water with a 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt[9] and/or a half tea-spoon of baking soda) in one of your nostrils with your head tilted to the side so that the water comes out the other nostril. It's best used when you're experiencing nasal congestion.

Use a potato. Place one uncooked potato into a liquidizer and liquidize the whole potato. Scoop out and place the pureed potato on your closed eyes .Keep it there for 30 minutes, lying on your back, then wash it off with warm water. This method works well for some people.

Use a frozen spoon. Put a spoon in the freezer and pour water into it. (Putting the water in after you put it in the freezer makes sure you don't spill any.) Leave it in there for a short period of time then take it out. Put it on the dark circles and leave it there until the ice starts to melt.

And here are some cosmetic solutions:

Apply an eye cream containing vitamin K and retinol. Dark circles may be caused by a deficiency of vitamin K. Regardless of the cause, however, skin creams containing these two ingredients reduce puffiness and discoloration significantly in many people. Long-term daily use seems to have the greatest effect

Use an under-eye cream. Use a concealer that will camouflage the dark under-eye circles. It's important to use a concealer that matches your undertone (namely, yellow, peach (for bluish circles), tan, light brown, etc.) After applying the concealer, set it with a light dusting of translucent powder.

Treat your skin while you sleep. There are overnight facial masques that may help reduce the appearance of puffiness or discoloration, or you can make your own. And try this simple remedy: just before going to bed, take a piece of cloth and wet it a little with cold water. Squeeze out any excess water and place it over your eyes as you sleep.

 ANSWER:
Placing eye bags on your eyes will NOT get rid of wrinkles and most likely puffiness. Tea has antioxidants that can prevent free radical damage that break down collagen and elastic fibers. Stop with the tea mess. Just drink it. Lol. Please. There are better topical ways to get tea antioxidants on skin correctly. Plus, there are dozens of other antioxidants that works as well if not better. You may have eye wrinkles for several reasons. See my other responses (best answers) for more info. But just in a gist: it could be that you 1) sun exposure, 2) squint a lot (thus, wear UV-glasses) OR 3) rub your eyes. Read sources for more info.

You also need to devise a well-designed regimen with well-formulated products that not only reduce inflammation and promote collagen production but also provide antioxidants and sun protection. All the products must be suitable for your unique skin type.

TREATMENT OPTIONS

Chemical Exfoliant helps unglue the dead skin cells on the surface of skin, thus, brining up healthy skin cells to the surface. This gives you that soft "glowing" skin. Over-the-counter chemical exfoliant are low in concentration and are not meant to induce dramatic results like "chemical peels". The stronger the acid the more dramatic the result albeit higher irritation levels. Over-the-counter usually go from 8%-30% alpha hydroxy acids such as glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, malic acid, etc. Glycolic acid is the smallest acid and has the most research behind it. Salicylic acid is most likely in a regulated concentration of 1-2%. Option: Alpha Hydrox AHA Enhanced Lotion with 10% glycolic acid OR M2 Skin Refinish 20% (10% mandelic acid & 10% malic aicd) OR M.D. Forte Skin Rejuvenation Lotion III with 30% glycolic acid. Please PLEASE be extra careful when apply acid near the eye area. There is research stating that 10% glycolic acid can stimulate collagen over time. Yes, it can take months to see result. You need to have patience and compliance with sunscreen, too. If you are prone to dark circles, acid thin the skin and make blood vessels so know that.

Retinoids/VitaminA - Retinoids such as Tretinoin (Retin-A, Renova) or Tazorac (Tazarotene) can give some improvement. Why? Research shows that retinoids can promote collagen production along with other wonderful benefits to the skin. Retinoids are prescription products; therefore, you need to visit your board-certified dermatologist to obtain one. If you do not have the luxury or you do not have the tolerance for prescription retinoid, you can try over-the-counter Vitamin A retinol products. Retinol may help, but it is less effective because it needs to be broken down first before it can be active as a retinoid. The higher the concentration the stronger it is and the more potential you can get an irritation. Options: try Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Cream, Night Formula OR SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.5 Refining Night Cream OR SkinCeuticals Retinol 1.0 Maximum Strength Refining Night Cream. The higher the retinol concentration, the better the result, the higher the irritation potential. Be warned.

Topical Vitamin C function as a fantastic antioxidant and collagen promoter. It can scavenge free radical to prevent wrinkles in the future. There are several types of vitamin C. Original vitamin C is "L-ascorbic acid"; it has the most research backing its effectiveness on its variety of skin benefits. The problem with the original is that it is quite unstable in formulation, so there is a need for stabilized vitamin C such as tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. Options: PCA Skin (pHaze 16) C-Strength 15% (l-ascorbic acid) OR Dermalogica Age Smart MAP-15 Regenerator with 15% magnesium ascorbyl phosphate OR Paula's Choice RESIST Super Antioxidant Concentrate with 5% tetrahexydecyl ascorbate.

Best wishes

Update: Mukunda is a scam. His so-called testimony means NOTHING without link to the original statement. Even then, however, testimony are almost always meaningless. Only scientific data can prove what works for skin.

I have the same problem too!
Place black or chamomile teabags soaked in cold water on your eyelids for 15 minutes. The tannic acid in tea will constrict the blood vessels and reduce bags.
Or you could place slices of cucumber, potatoes, or apple over the puffy eyelids for 10-15 minutes. Potatoes will reduce bags and wrinkles under the eyes and apples have pectin which aids in anti-oxidation. Do these things for up to 4 weeks for best results.

 QUESTION:
is preparation h, good for wrinkles and under eye bags?

 ANSWER:
The active ingredient found in pile cream is formulated to reduce swelling with the aim of decreasing pain with piles. This being so, many people use it to decrease the puffiness or swelling around the eyes. It is a short term effect only and doesn't remove it on a permanent basis. Caution should be used if using this method to make sure there is no contact with the eye its self, plus long term use of some products which have a steroid content will cause thinning of the skin around the eyes which could lead to splitting and eventually end up making the situation worse. The best advice given by a 'friendly open minded pharmacist' is that if you are intending to do this only use it as a quick fix for special occasions and not as an every day part of your beauty regime. Long term, be careful not to touch, rub or generally abuse your eye area too much as this can result in dark areas as the very thin skin of your eye area bruises easier than normal. Plus drink more water - drinking more water saturates your cells and improves the appearance of fine lines.

I use to put slices of cucumber or potato when i am home. It will help in shrinking the eye bags and the wrinkles. I use eye cream too and it helps. If you smoke, it will help multiply the wrinkles in due time, when you are older, you will see the difference. So, i hope you don't smoke. Take care.

 QUESTION:
What is a legitimate treatment for a few wrinkles and bags under ones eyes?
I have been fortunate all my life with not have wrinkles around the eyes. I am an aging baby boomer which makes this a good thing, but the last 6 or 8 months I have been having trouble sleeping. Of late I have noticed the wrinkles intruding onto my face for the first time. I don't mind paying a little more for the right skin care product to help with both the bags and 1st time wrinkles.

 ANSWER:
These safe natural treatments really work and can permanently get rid of them..

This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
"Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. ...... My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young."

She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with essential oils had permanently got rid of my acne and also removed my bags/circles. The massages greatly tighten skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away.

The most helpful ones are: Using both hands together (1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes. (2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone. (3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet). If do all 3 for 10 minutes daily - will markedly tighten skin and diminish the circles in the first two days. Use any oil. Olive is good. To avoid skin pulling first make skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth(tightens most of face)

Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on Youtube. Do the "The lion face" and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.

YOGA MEDITATION is a great help.and is easy to do. Contact me for more info. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or more hours of non restful sleep.
QUESTION:
short of surgery what is the best eye cream for bags and wrinkles?

 ANSWER:
It really depends on your skin type. I have drier skin and am prone to wrinkles, so Clinique All About Eyes Rich works well for me. The thing I like is that they have a general use formula (All
About Eyes), a formula for drier skin (All About Eyes Rich), and some heavier duty products as well for older skin. If you're in an area with a Clinique counter in a department store, you can always ask to try the product before you buy it, and they even have some samples. They have always been good with returns, too. The Clinique website has good information on the products, so you can make sure you know what you're looking for before you go in. If you wear contacts, ask your ophthalmologist or optometrist about chemicals you should avoid.

Vigorous face massaging with oils quickly and permanently removed my bags/circles.and all other under eye problems. Extra virgin olive oil works well for many. QUESTION:
does changing your sleeping time give you eye bags?
it's summer here so i sleep everyday from 3-5 am and i wake up like 11am-2pm. will i have any problems like eye bags or wrinkles?? btw i'm only 14.

 ANSWER:
Much of the time, those "eye bags" aren't really just from not sleeping. Often times, the dark look is just veins under the skin, while other times it's caused by bruising or allergies or a bad diet. However, lack of sleep can cause paleness of the skin, which could lead to the bags being more visible. So long as you're actually getting enough sleep though, I'd say you'd be fine.

Just apply a tiny bit with a cotton pad and make sure its "Extra virgin" olive oil only so it does not clog your pores.

This truly works and is a quick and permanent solution. It got rid of mine and those of wannabeblue 28 and Candi:) below.

wannabeblue28: “Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes!
Candi:) "I tried this a day or 2 ago, OMGosh it workedd out amazingly, thx some much and thx to you who ansered, they were all good answers. =D"

Specialized massaging greatly tightens skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away. First make skin tight by opening mouth 3/4' and pulling lips firmly back against teeth. You will see that it very much tightens where the bags are and so it reduces them as you apply massage and then massaging itself makes the tightening greater.
Use both hands. Massage quite vigorously with front of palms and fingers held together:.
(1) Long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
(2) Do another up and back at an angle from near chin point to cheek bone.
(3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on crows feet area).

Do for several minutes daily (not necessarily in one session) – skin will become tighter under and around eye and the circles will visibly diminish in the first two or three days.

Use any natural oil. Extra virgin olive and E.V. coconut oils work well for many. They are noncomedogenic - so do not clog or enlarge pores or cause breakouts

 QUESTION:
Is there an eye cream for wrinkles and dark circles that does not cause tiny white bumps under the eyes?
I have been trying out different eye creams around my eyes. I've noticed that I've started to form wrinkles, dark circles and slight baginess under my eyes. I've used St. Ives Vit. K cream for the dark circles, L'oreal Hydrafresh, Nivea Eyezone (with Q10), L'oreal RevitaLift Eye and Oil of Olay Total Effects. But I don't use them long enough to see the results. The problem is when I use these creams under my eyes, tiny white bumps (like whiteheads) form on my lower eyelids. I only apply small amounts of the cream. Still, the white bumps appear. Is there an alternative to eye creams that fight wrinkles and bags without causing the skin around my eyes to break out? I have oily, sensitive skin. Please help.

 ANSWER:
Hello,

Dark circles and puffy eyes are one of the most frequently asked how-to-cure skincare related questions. They may be caused by a variety of factors like hereditary, lack of sleep, not enough water, stress, age, lack of certain vitamins and minerals in the diet, overloading on alcohol, etc. However, there are natural ways you can dramatically reduce, if not eliminate them. The important aspect to remember is that most skincare problems are internal problems relating to the diet. There is no specific food that causes a skin problem in itself, but it may be certain ingredients in certain foods that cause the skin to erupt.

Apply these techniques to the letter to see a difference in a short time.

Puffy and baggy eyes First, make sure you are getting at least 8 hours of sleep a night, drinking 8-10 glasses of water, eliminating alcohol, and are reducing stress as much as possible. To help with reducing stress, stretch for at least 10 minutes a day, exercise, and do something you enjoy. It is helpful to have a notebook by your bed to write 2 (or more) things you learned or cherished that day. This practice helps to put the day in a better perspective.

Next, you should tweak your eating plan slightly to expedite results. If there is one thing you can do to expedite your results, avoid salty foods. Salty foods are a huge contributing factor to puffy and baggy eyes because they contribute to water retention. Water retention makes the body (as well as the skin) appear bloated and puffier. Under the eye region is very delicate, so the puffiness is more apparent there than on other parts of the face.

For the natural solution: Purchase organic wheat germ oil from a health food store and apply under the eyes and around the eyes twice a day.

Dark under eye circles You should follow the same criteria stated for puffy and baggy eyes to avoid salty foods. However, you may try these secrets.

Secret 1: Mix turmeric powder with raw pineapple juice. The trick is pineapple juice must be taken from a raw pineapple, not a canned version. Mix them together until a paste-like formation forms. Gently spread this mixture under the eyes. Let it stay on the eyes for 15-20 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this procedure at nighttime for a week. You should see visible results within that time frame.

Secret 2: For serious dark circles, purchase almond oil (the wheat germ oil is more appropriate for puffy eyes) from a health food store. Gently pat the oil under the eyes and around the eye. Do this in the morning and evening to see fast results.

Dietary change: Eat 2 cups (or more) of organic spinach everyday for either lunch or dinner. It's convenient and best to buy frozen organic spinach or organic spinach leaves, as non-organic spinach is high in pesticide residuals. In addition, eat 1/4 to 1/2 cup of raw almonds (must not be roasted or salted) 3 hours after eating dinner. In addition to eliminating salty foods, doing these dietary changes will quickly speed up the results.

I hope this helps.

Hydroxatone-Celebrities' Preferred Skin Care Anti Wrinkle Cream

High-Definition is perfect for television but it frightens actresses over 35. It has them screaming behind the scenes, "Make me look younger." Rachel, one of the leading makeup artists in show business, has to deal with the anxiety of older actresses who face a high-def camera. She's become a sort of miracle worker. When Rachel has to make a miracle happen fast, she reaches for her secret weapon in the bottom drawer.

Rachel found that the fastest way to reduce the visible appearance of wrinkles, the most stubborn ones too, is to use Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler. She takes it with her on every job and it never fails when she needs it to help the leading ladies get ready for their close up, even in HD.

98% Of Women Are Raving That It Really Works
But Rachel is not the only one who believes in the magic of Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler. After all of the years of market testing, there's finally a product that tested as high as 98%. If you don't believe it, see for yourself! The women who participated in the test saw how beautiful they looked and didn't want to give back their trial supply.

Developed By A Leading Surgeon
Hydroxatone Instant Winkle Filler, approved by one of the country's top plastic surgeons, is availalbe to the public for the first time. You can get the same smoothing power that women get in front of the camera in your own bathroom!
Instantly visible Results
No longer do you have to wait to look younger. Silicone micro beads used in Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler trigger an immediate and significant visible wrinkle elimination. The super-hydrating ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, rapidly plumps up lines from the inside. Just apply the filler into your laugh lines, crow's feet or even depressed scars for immediate results. Close up situations will be no problem because the wrinkles will be gone. Additionally, the breakthrough ingredients in Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler help reverse the premature aging of the skin, while helping to minimize the damaging effects of stress and the environment.

Avoid The Pain And Discomfort Of Botox And Surgery
Some celebrities will not get plastic surgery... even in Los Angeles, "The Face-Lift Capital of the World." Instead, they use Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler and avoid the pain and complication of cosmetic surgery. Even though they can well afford it, they'd rather skip the uncomfortable side effects that go with along with surgery and even Botox injections.

Gain A Youthful Appearance In Minutes
With a simple topical application of Hydroxatone Instant Wrinkle Filler, you can avoid potential painful side effects from Botox injections and see instant results in the fight against unsightly deep lines and wrinkles. What's more, Hydroxatone can be applied to all areas of the face, neck, and body-not just to "crow's feet" around the eyes.

Dr. Michael Fiorillo, a top board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon, developed the Hydroxatone anti-aging system. He is an internationally recognized expert on plastic surgery, publishing over 20 articles, books and textbook contributions.

Many high-priced salons carry and sell these inadequate anti-aging products that cost hundreds of dollars. The manufacturer of Hydroxatone is so confident in their anti-aging skin care formula, that they are offering a 30-day risk free trial. Seeing is believing, and Hydroxatone will immediately begin to erase 10 years of wrinkles.

No longer are costly and inferior products the only alternatives to achieving younger looking skin.

 QUESTION:
Are "frog" closures stylish on a garment in 2008?
I have been given a beautiful, vivid blue skirt and blouse with "frog closures" for the "buttons". I have had gastric bypass surgery and would like to wear it soon. I am positive the color and material will be fine for me, just not sure about the "frog closures" for nowadays. I want to wear updated clothing, and I am torn between youthful fashion trends and what is age appropriate. For example, I have very wrinkled excess skin under my arms and would feel unattractive in a sleeveless dress.
The neck is like a narrow V neck blouse and the closure is a knot of the same material on one side and a loop of the material to hold the knot and keep the blouse closed is on the other. It doesn't have an oriental/asian feel. It is very pretty, but not ever been one to where the frog things...LOL. I have noticed on jackets/ big belts some different types of closures that would be akin to the same thing as frogs on the front. I can also look for an idea on www. Thanks.

 ANSWER:
Do you have a picture of the skirt and blouse? I think the frog closures are adorable ^.^ maybe if the whole outfit is too much you could wear the skirt with a different blouse, or pair the blouse with a different skirt.

 QUESTION:
What can I do about excess skin around belly button after baby? Anyone ever tried a Belly Wrap?
I had my first child 10mths ago. I gained a healthy 35lbs. My stomach was huge by the time I made it to the hospital though. Just the way my body carried the baby I guess. Within the last 2 1/2 mths I have lost 15-20lbs, 13" all over and went from size 11-13 to a 5-6. I have been eating small portions and exercising. I am thrilled with the weightloss and the smaller me I see in the mirror! However...my goal isn't to be the skinniest girl at the beach this summer. I just want to get back in a two-piece and feel sexy...but my tummy begs to differ. Its not quite "flat" yet. I have been doing latin dancing, zumba and walking for cardio and target pilates for buns and thighs, arms, abs, etc. (alternately). When I sit I have a flap of skin that hangs...or if you get down on all fours or lean forward no matter how hard I suck my tummy in it sags. But in addition to this the only place I ended up with stretch marks was around my belly button and in that area now my skin (the very top layer) puckers and wrinkles below my belly button kind of like older peoples skin...wrinkly and if i pinch it together it kind of sticks instead of stretching back into place. HELP ME!!! I don't want to have to resort to surgery. I was planning on spending that money and energy on getting my very sad saggy boobs perked back up LOL. I have read about something called a Belly Wrap and was wondering if anyone has used it personally...or quite simply if they have any sort of answer or advice as far as this loose skin thing goes.

Thanks!

 QUESTION:
toning after huge weight lose?
ive lost about 66lbs(30kgs) in 4 months, and have more to loose still (have been large all my life). i am exercising heaps (walking 20-40 mins a day, pilates, eliptical trainer, hand weights for arms), dry skin brushing, using creams and oils all over, spa, & sauna. I do all this most days.Luckily im not working atm or would never have time! (i am also trying so hard to tone my thighs as they are very flabby still, never had toned thighs)
I am alot smaller now, Very happy but am worried about loose skin. i have big wrinkles around my butt . skin loose under my arms, under my neck, everywhere, tho not as bad as you see on ppl on tv before surgery. I have heaps of stretch marks too. I am still young (30's) and want to have a chance at having a great body, hopefully without surgery (i scar really badly, keloid).
Am i exspecting too much too soon? will my skin ever tighten up? is there anything else i can be doing to help (eg massages, more/different exercises

 ANSWER:
Hi there, I have the same problem. I lost about 20 KG and i have a bit of loose skin. So i asked about it they said they will tighten up but they need a bit of time and i have to exercise and especially do aerobics. So i think it works but it needs time.
So good luck for both of us.
QUESTION:
I have hundreds of stretch marks and I'm 16/f?
I'm 16. I got put on steroids for asthma a few years ago and I got really fat so I got stretch marks EVERYWHERE. I have hundreds. There's almost no clothes I can wear without them showing. Like on my arms, they go from my armpit to past my elbow. They're on my breasts, my butt, my sides (all the way from my hips to my armpits), my thighs, my knees and my stomach (up past my belly button). So there's no clothes except long pants and shirts I can wear without them showing. Most are silvery but I'm pale skinned and they show up horribly. I lost a lot of weight to be a decent size and I can't wear any nice clothing. I already have to get surgery on my breasts because they sag so badly. I'd like to be able to wear shorts or shorts sleeves without them showing. I can't even wear the most conversative bathing suit. And then I constantly have to worry about tanning because they'll show more. Also my skin texture is awful and wrinkled. I've tried over the counter stuff like Mederma and vitamin E and so on. It doesn't work. Are there any surgeries to get rid of stretch marks? Please do NOT post "Be happy with yourself." or "Everyone has stretch marks." If I only had a few stretch marks, I'd understand but my skin looks awful and I'm sick of having to wear long sleeves and pants in the summer and 100 degree heat and not being able to go swimming or anything. Please help.
Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter and Bio-Oil doesn't work. I've tried them ALL.

 ANSWER:
Well, I've only heard of Vitamin E, but you could try Bio-Oil. It worked for me. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get rid of them really fast so you can be happy

 QUESTION:
How to talk to a materialistic girl when to much is to much?
Many years back my childhood friend got breast implants. I'm not the one for plastic surgery to alter your body as a means to make yourself look good. I tried to tell her its not a good idea and costly, and she said she didnt care cause she wants big boobs. So she got the surgery and cause it cost so much she couldnt afford the special bra you wear after so it pushes them together. So now her boobs just look down right fake and are very far apart from each other. Well after that she talked about getting a nose job, i dont think she is ever got it because everyone got mad at her for thinking of it. Well now she is married. From what i hear her new husband is nto as nice as we think, he has told his friends that she has a great body which is perfect but her face is not and sometimes he feels he needs to put a paperbag over her face cause of how unattractive she is. Her told her how her teeth are messed up so she went and had all this dental work done. Somehow now she is getting the nose job she wanted, i guess she mentioned something to him about it and he said yes do it. So now she has this surgery scheduled, and then after she mentioned about the nose he said "also look in chin and jaw reconstruction" so the doctor is going to do both of those surgeries at the same time. Now her boyfriend learned of something with eyebrow lifts and shaping and right now is getting consultation on the doctor about it as well as to get rid of her crows feet wrinkles from tanning. I know she has severe self esteem issues. But right now its getting out of control. I tried to talk to her about all this and all she tells me is "your perfect so you dont know what its like to not to look as good as others" i told her life is not about how pretty or perfect your body or home is. But if thats how you want to choose your path than go for it, but be prepared when some of that plastic surgery doesnt come out the way you wanted. I know her husband is playing a big part in this as he wants his wife to look like barbie and so does she so all eyes are on her. she has already damaged her skin to tanning and looks ten years older than she already is, she has bloaches discoloration all over her chest and arms. Her face looks like someone who has been smoking for years. And the make up she wears forget it. I just dont know how to talk to her anymore? I feel like once she does all this she is going to do something else to alter her body years later. I also feel like her husband is trying to change her to. I know he has cheated on her and denies it, but this is your wife! If you dont like how she looks, like WTF why put her through all this pain, he shouldnt have married her in the first place.

 ANSWER:
That has to be hard to see a friend go through all of that. There is nothing that you can do but try and be supportive to her. If you and others have already said something to her about the excessive work, nothing will change her mind now. Some people get addicted to it. If she does not know about the cheating you might want to tell her, but I have a feeling that should would not believe you anyway. I feel for you!

 ANSWER:
What exactly are you asking? Obviously she has self-esteem issues... the only way to overcome this i think, is to go to a psychiatrist... I don't think you can tell her anything that will change her mind until she overcomes the disorder she has... it's sad but it's a lot more common that people think. One of my sister's has had breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and a botched nose job and still she isn't happy with her body... and every thing people tell her she takes as criticism...so there's no way to tell her that her only problem is that she doesn't use the right clothes for her body type; see,she uses clothes that don't fit her and most of the time she wants to use things for 20 year-olds when she's like 36.... And about your friend, someone else suggested to do something about the husband, getting rid of the husband alone won't fix her self-esteem issues.....

 QUESTION:
why does an edgar cayce violet ray device work for so many mental problems?
For people with depression I advocate using this over the spinal area and back – how often would vary from person to person but I feel but somewhere between 1-3 times per week should be a good starting point. More for people deeply affected. Duration as a starting point around 15-20 mins.
This is not an ultra violet lamp of any sorts, but a high frequency generator coupled to a glass wand
Even the great Edgar Cayce recommended this device in hundreds of readings for all sorts of complaints. Edgar Cayce said that the Violet Ray stimulates the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal nervous system and it creates a balance. Here are some testimonies from other therapists
I gave them the Violet Ray up and down both sides of the spine, three times at a slow to moderate pace. Both had very unhappy childhood‘s. Their behaviour improved from then on and they appear to be still stable. Each needed two treatments only. I believe it would help children with behavioural problems.
Treat the body as in figure 8 that is put the applicator under the right arm pit the first day for 10 mins. Then under left knee the next day, under left armpit the next day then under right knee the next day, then repeat.
Apparently these are the same locations where the lymph system comes to the surface.
Edgar Cayce states that the violet ray calms the nerves. It is also used for blindness and severe headaches, Rheumatism, Lesions, ears and deafness, and after effects of surgery.
The violet ray was applied to various different places on the body including the eyes, throat spine, arm pits, base of the brain, upper broncials, thyroids even a rectal applicator to treat hemorrhoids and the feet and of course the scalp. Some other applications
followed over the forty odd years – violet ray treatments directly on the spine to stimulate the superficial circulation and revitalise giving more activity to the whole of the respiratory system.
The violet ray gives incentives to the nerve centres to be rejuvenated again .The ozone produced from the machine would be most beneficial to the body as well.
Like voltage is life or healing and makes resistance in the system. The violet ray should be applied to the feet and lower limbs along the sciatic nerve and across the sacral and in the plexus of the cervical and upper dorsal. Do this each evening and in 5-6 weeks the body will be more active mentally and physically. This machine is still being used to treat acne and to increase circulation in the scalp. There are also reports of increased hair growth or baldness.
Another use of the machine was following the packs of salts, when the skin has been opened, or the pores, and the centres along the cerebro-spinal system are ready for response to this low form of electrical vibration, this will enliven not only the nerve centres of the cerebro-spinal and sympathetic system, but also cleansing the blood stream itself.
This device can be used for many other problems as well; many people who have problems with the spine pain, arthritis, carpal tunnel, have got relief.
I have noticed immediate relief and a feeling of betterment very quickly. Some therapists will have these but I recommend owning one yourself as they can be bought quite cheaply.
Cayce said that the Violet Ray stimulates the sympathetic and cerebro-spinal nervous system and it creates a balance.
In one reading, on possession, Edgar Cayce said that it will drive out negative earth bound entities. These are entities that try to stop you changing the way you think. Attempt to stop you from growing
,everyone with depression should use one regularly.
Decades ago, physicians used this device for every imaginable health problem. Today, the FDA approves the Violet Ray‘s use specifically for various skin and scalp conditions, such as reducing wrinkles, eliminating acne, fighting gray hair, eradicating dandruff, and treating baldness.
This device intensifies fresh blood circulation. The extra flow of blood equalizes the circulation in crowded areas, helping heal bruised and damaged tissue.
Make contact with the glass bulb before turning the appliance on. In other words, place the glass bulb on the skin and then turn it on. Otherwise you will receive an unpleasant tingling upon contact with the skin. Turn the appliance o
No person with a pacemaker should be allowed near a Violet Ray machine, the effects could be fatal. Violet Ray

No longer are costly and inferior products the only alternatives to achieving younger looking skin.

Don't spend hundreds of dollars on costly, painful, and risky Botox injections and cosmetic surgery. Act now to get your trial supply of the greatest breakthrough in wrinkle fighting technology before they run out.
How to Get Rid of Those Ugly Under Eye Wrinkles?

A lot of people suffer from eye or under eye wrinkles. This is because of both age and tiredness. This article will tell you what to do to avoid or eliminate these wrinkles.

Under eye wrinkles are not only annoying, they're also rather damaging to one's self-esteem. The worst part is that there's really not much you can do to prevent these wrinkles or eliminate the. This article discusses the few things that can be done.

Get some sleep. This is the most important thing you can do, really. We're often running chronically short of sleep, what with work and leisure and family and friends. So try to take at least one day a week to go to bed early. Do whatever you need to, but make sure you can sleep for ten or twelve hours undisturbed.

Drink a lot of water. Try to drink as much as you can. This does not include coffee, tea, alcohol, or soda--these are diuretics and will actually dehydrate you. Adding lemon or limejuice, and ice, to your water can help revitalize your skin.

Put cucumber slices on your eyes. We all know that putting cucumber slices on closed eyes can help reduce wrinkles and feel refreshed. This is actually pretty effective, especially if you want to look good for a date or just to go out for a while. It is not, however, a full-time remedy. But, if you want a quick-fix, try lying down with cucumber slices over your eyes, for about twenty minutes, before applying make-up. This really helps you look better.

Stop smoking and/or drinking. Smoking, as well as other pollutants, has adverse effects on the chemical balance of your hair and skin. Alcohol has a similar effect, too. So, if you smoke and/or drink, you're likely to get wrinkles earlier than those who don't indulge in either of these activities. Limiting, or, better still quitting, one or both, will improve your skin, and will definitely help you hold wrinkles at bay. The overall health benefits are obvious and well known.

Buy under eye wrinkle creams. If you already have under eye wrinkles, there are several natural eye creams you could use to help reduce your wrinkles. There are some products that have such safe ingredients that you can actually eat them. I am being entirely serious--you may dislike the taste, but that's different issue. These are the creams you should look for, as these are the ones that'll actually be able to help you. There are products that can help you reduce your under-eye wrinkles. But you have to look carefully. It's not about how the under-eye wrinkle cream is packaged. It's certainly not about which celebrity or famous model is the spokesperson. It is not even about the rave reviews and/or testimonials the under-eye wrinkle cream gets. It's all about which ingredients are included and excluded.

So, now that you know, you can follow the advice given in this article, and easily get rid of all your under eye wrinkles.

Dont Buy Into Eye Wrinkle Cream Scams

Something about the evolution of our society has ingrained in us this subconscious desire to look forever young. Knowing this, the skin care and anti aging companies market a countless number wrinkle treatments, acne systems, moisturizers and eye creams designed to treat and supposedly erase signs of aging like wrinkles and dark circles. Although there are some good, wholesome anti aging companies with you and your skins best interest in mind, there are many scams out there that prey on consumers trying to keep their skin looking and feeling healthy and young. Learn how to indentify wrinkle cream scams and how you can find the right path to looking younger.

The first thing you can do in order to avoid eye wrinkle creams scams is to not believe the first thing you read. When checking out a companys website or online store, be aware that many companies hire third party ad writers to make their product sound like it really is the best there is, nonchalantly convincing you to purchase a product you may have never really wanted in the first place. Remember if it sounds too good to be true than it probably is.

Be wary of any company offering free trials that ask for your credit information. The standard for this type of scam is that you sign up for a seven or fourteen day free trial and at the end of the trial period your credit card gets slammed with charges and products that you never ordered are sent to your house. This method of doing business is very common and can be avoided if you just stay away from free trials. Plus, even the best eye wrinkle creams or gels take at least two weeks to a month to show any substantial result, seven or fourteen day trial simply arent enough time to see if a product works for you or not. If you want to order a wrinkle cream make sure that there is some sort of money back guarantee and numerous solid methods of contacting them should a complication arise.

Understand that although surgery is obviously the most effective and permanent method of looking younger, it holds great risks and should only really be considered if its a life and death or disfiguring situation. Many of us just need to accept that the aging process is just a part of life and cant only be temporarily halted, not stopped by any means. If you want to slow down the signs of aging in the skin the best thing to do is take necessary measures to prevent outside factors that contribute to aging like wearing sun block or eating right as well as using anti aging products made with all natural ingredients

Reading customer reviews is another big part in indentifying eye wrinkle cream scams. Customer review sites offer unbiased opinions about products as well as providing recommendations for other products and any positive and negative reaction they may have had. If you wind up seeing that a couple products have bad reviews across the board then you may want to check them off your list of potential wrinkle creams.

Avoiding eye wrinkle cream scams is easy when you know what to look for. Before buying an eye treatment the best thing to do is to thoroughly research every avenue of the product. Look at the company itself and see if theyre one that you can put the care of your skin in. Dont just check one website or product, expend all resources and make sure that your getting what you pay for and what you expect.

 ANSWER:
Secret: there is no magic formula to prevent you from having wrinkles. The skin under/around the eye is the thinnest, and most sensitive, and everyday pollution, stress, bad nutrition, climate change, etc is hardly going to keep it in perfect shape. The only way to POSTPONE wrinkles:
1. good genetic background
2. any eye cream ( I use STRI VECTIN eye cream , after i have tried many, this one provides the maximum moisture) + lots of SPF!!!, and not too much sun exposure!!!
3. enough sleep!!! reduce stress!!!
4. antioxidants, meaning lots of fruits and veggies, and NO JUNK!

 QUESTION:
Can you recommend a gentle eye cream for sensitive skin?
The corners of my eyes get very irritated while applying makeup. I know the first recommendation would be to stop using makeup, but I think there must be another solution. I am NOT looking for anti-aging and wrinkle creams - they irritate my eyes and are not what I'm looking for. I've tried using facial moisturizers and cream like Cetaphil, but they irritate them (even Aveeno) or are too greasy to apply in the morning (Cetaphil).

Does anyone know of a brand of gentle eye cream that is just moisturizing, with no anti-aging or other irritants?

 ANSWER:
You actually need to use Eyebase before putting on makeup on your eyes.

I also has very sensitive skin and very thankful to a friend who recommended a brand to me that is called Motives. I've been using this brand for two years and my skin feels great. I use the VitaShield Intensive Eye Firming Treatment that is very light(use up to 6 months for one) and I use Eye base(use for 1 year) .

You can check out this website :

 QUESTION:
Help Please. Face & Eye Cream Recommendations?
Do you know a good day and night cream for a 25 year old with fine lines and some discoloration?
Also should I use a different cream for the wrinkles and dark circles that I have around my eyes.
thanks

 ANSWER:
There are three things that work really well for controlling and preventing wrinkles.

One is retinol. You can find it in many skin creams, but here's the catch. It never tells you how MUCH retinol is in there. My dermatologist says, if they don't tell you, it's because there's not really enough in there to do much good.

Look on-line for skinceuticals retinol. Start with .25% (or maybe 0.5%) and use it every 3 days. If you get a lot of redness & peeling, cut back. If you are tolerating it pretty well, gradually work up to daily use. Then gradually switch up to the 0.5%, and eventually the 1.0%.
It's kind of expensive, that's the downside. But you only have to use a little.

The other thing to use is a cream with alpha hydroxy acid in it. Same rule applies -- if they don't tell you the percentage, it's because there's not much in there. You need at least 8% to be effective, and 10% is better.
Look online for "Alpha Hydrox." You can find it in some stores, but not always. The good news -- this one is relatively cheap.

The third thing is sunscreen. Wear it anytime you are in the sun, not just at the beach. Sun is the biggest culprit in aging, second only to smoking.

If you start now, at your age, you will look great at 40! Many of us don't start taking care of our skin until it's too late.

I am 22 years old, and i noticed I am starting to get some minor lines under my eyes. There are many antiwrinkle and eye cream out there. But I only want to nourish my eye not try to fix wrinkle. I am afraid if i use a product too strong like the anti-wrinkle creams-it will be worst.

The #1 cause of wrinkles is sun damage. Sun exposure weakens the collagen layer over time.

To protect your the area around your eyes, wear SPF every day & large sunglasses.

For moisturizing the area around your eyes to keep the skin plumped up, try a light, oil free serum. I like Alba Botanica's Hawaiian Green Tea Eye Gel. I got it at Whole Foods.

Hello. I would try Avon or Sephora. Avon will be the least expensive but they have good products that work and Sephora has a ton. Just click on "anti aging" or "eye treatments." You should read the reviews to see what has workd for people. I would only buy if it has at least 4.5 stars out of 5. Hope this helps.

 QUESTION:
Does anyone over 40 have any recommendations for a good but reasonably priced wrinkle cream ?
I have a few deep wrinkles I'd like to get rid of or at least make less noticable. I'm blessed with good genes and no skin problem so I just started taking care of my skin and I'm 42. I wear sunscreen regularly. I've found just using eye cream helps around the eyes but the deep wrinkles?

 ANSWER:
You just must simply get Yves Rocher! They have a site on Internet. I started using their products at about age 50, am now 65, have no wrinkles, and always get asked what I use on my face. It is the absolute best product I have ever used, bar none. I have always been an Estee Lauder girl, also.

I use the ADN line. It is DNA switched up a bit. There is no animal testing and all products are absolutely plant based. The company even has its own Amazon jungle farm for the exotic plant extracts.

Another thing, you can always get 2 for 1, and they always send you a free gift, like a purse, overnight bag, quilt, etc with each order. The company is in France, oh, and there is free shipping over a certain dollar amount. Please try this. It is really great.

 QUESTION:
Whats the best eye product for wrinkles but wont irritate sensitive eyes? Anyone with the same problem? Help!?
Whenever I apply any eyecare product in the past, no matter how expensive the brand is.. I would feel it getting into; stinging my eyes in the middle of the night and i would start rubbing my eyes.. which is very bad and cause more wrinkles as I cant control my itch when i sleep and i might damage the fragile skin ard my eyes when i rub them. Im not sure if its due to my oily skin or sensitive eyes (my friends doesnt seem to have the same problem) but I kind of given up on eyecare for yrs... well recently I thought I could see a faint crease starting to form underneath my eye and gosh I really need to start caring for them now before its too late! Help! Anyone else experienced the same problem as me? Any recommendations of a good wrinkle cream/gel for the eyes that isnt oily and gd for sensitve eyes? I badly need some advice pls!

 ANSWER:
You may want to try an organic eye cream that is free from irritating chemicals. I recommend the Juice Beauty line of organic anti aging products, particularly its Green Apple Collection Nutrient Eye Cream. This line is made with 100% certified organic, vegetarian ingredients and it's paraben-free.

Another suggestion is to try Neutrogena's Intensified Eye Moisture cream, because it's hypoallergenic, oil-free, fragrance-free and Ophthalmologist-tested.

Check out the Olay Regenerist line. I've heard great things about it. I remember seeing a dermatologist on TV speaking about this very subject!! He said clients would come in noticably more wrinkled on one side of thier faces and he asked them about thier sleep habits. Sure enough, they were face sleepers!! Break the habit, even I stopped sleeping on my side when I saw that!!

 ANSWER:
I started using Arbonne's revolutionary anti-aging system (hydrating wash, balancing toner, facial serum, transforming lift, corrective eye cream, day crème, and night crème) last year and absolutely love it! It makes me skin look radiant! It is specifically formulated to reduce the affects of sun damage, decrease fine lines and wrinkles, while it works to combat the visual signs of aging. I love the eye cream and facial serum. The system consists of botanically based products that contain natural collagens (hyaluronic acid), giving your skin a natural lift and others to deeply condition and hydrate your skin. They're all pure, safe, beneficial, hypoallergenic, dermatologist tested, and formulated without alcohol, wax, dyes, chemicals, fragrances, acetone, or mineral oil which makes them perfect for all skin types. They're unlike any others on the market as they are formulated in Switerland and made with all 9 KEY anti-aging elements (KOJIC ACID, NANOSPHERES, COPPER, VITAMIN C, ALPHA & BETA HYDROXY ACIDS, PEPTIDES, BIO-HYDRIA, ELHIBIN & STIMUTEX, and ALPHA LIPOIC ACID), giving you maximum benefit.

Their products are also formulated with nanosphere technology which makes them beneficial for all skin types and adjusts to your skins specific needs by applying more moisture in dry areas and less is oily areas. Research shows that 6 months continued use of this system will give a 68% decrease in DEEP density lines and wrinkles; however I started to notice results within a week or two.

Arbonne even has products for your entire body including a hydrating body wash, body serum, hydrating body lotion, and essential fatty acid dietary supplement, a concentrated blend of flaxseed oil, CoQ10 and beneficial elements to support younger-looking skin and good health ... from the inside, out ... and formulated in a vegetarian capsule. It's made of Flaxseed oil, vitamins A, C, E, Coenzyme Q10, alpha lipoic acid. I love the NutriMinC Re9 Anti-Aging Body Serum and Hydrating Body Lotion.

Arbonne allows their consumers to try before they buy. If you're interested in learning more, you can visit the website below or email me at jdio@myarbonne.com and I'll be happy to help you.

 QUESTION:
What would be a good, inexpensive anti-wrinkle cream?
So I am beginning to get lines around my mouth, eyes and on my forehead. I'd like to invest in good anti-wrinkle cream or lotion, but I don't want to pay more than about an ounce for the stuff.

Right now I use Vaseline as my "night cream" and in the day I use Better Botanicals sandalwood lotion. I have some Dove eye cream I occasionally put around my eyes but I am not fond of it -- I think just putting the regular lotion around my eyes is as good. But, I think the lotion needs an extra kick of something. Any recommendations?
By the way, forgot to add, I prefer products without sunscreen because I am allergic to most kinds (makes my skin red and itchy.) I just stay indoors most of the time and wear a big hat when I go outside.

 QUESTION:
Anti-aging cream or serum?
As they say, it's better to prevent then to cure. I'm been getting a little worried about premature wrinkles around my eyes. As hard as I try to apply my gel eyeliner without tugging on my eyelids, I can't help but to tug and pull at it. I just turned 18 and fine lines are starting to appear. I started to looking towards Laneige's Perfect Renew Essence but it's for a 1.5oz bottle. Too expensive on my budget. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good anti-aging eye cream/serum? Drugstore is preferred but I'm open to other suggestions.

Thanks. <3

 ANSWER:
First of all, tugging on your eyelids and prodding them too much stretches the skin because it is very thin. I would recommend that you buy an eyeliner brush and then if you want to apply your gel liner, use this brush instead because it will be softer on your eyes. Secondly, it is much cheaper to use your mascara as a gel liner. You can use the same brush as mentioned above and use the mascara to line your eyes.
Finally, as you said, prevention is better than cure so by doing the above you will preventing extra stretching of the skin. You can use a regular moisturiser still, but ensure that it contains SPF and antioxidants. Clinique does a lovely one but its quite expensive, however, no7 have also been known to produce good quality products.
You are only 18 and do not need to be using anti-aging products because your skin will be high in elasticity, ect. Just ensure that you keep hydrated, use your moisturiser twich daily, wear sunglasses in the summer and take your make-up off each night. Don't worry too much about the wrinkles coming under your eyes, they are the first to show usually due to squinting, etc. Just try not to make them worse by mistreating your skin.
Good luck!

 QUESTION:
Moms, have you noticed more wrinkles since having your babies?
I'm 31 and have a 3 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. I have noticed that I have a few fine lines/wrinkles around my eyes that weren't there pre-children. I wonder if lack of sleep over the last few years has much to do with it. It could be my age, as I know that 31 isn't 20, but it isn't old either...

Anyone have any good recommendations for good moisturizers or creams that help with wrinkles around the eyes?

 ANSWER:
I don't know of any eye moisturizers, but I use Clean & Clear morning burst lotion on my face pre makeup. It has SPF 15 in it and doesn't feel heavy at all or take a lot of time to soak in. It's pretty cheap, too and lasts a while. SPF will help with wrinkles down the road. I am with you, though. I haven't noticed any new wrinkles, but my complexion seems a bit duller. Hormones can do lots of strange things!

 ANSWER:
Try a hyaluronic acid serum.

Many beauty products on the market have harmful chemicals in them; do your favorite beauty products contain any of these things?:

* Mineral Oil, Paraffin & Petrolatum – Petroleum products coat the skin like plastic, clogging pores and creating a build-up of toxins, which in turn accumulate and can lead to dermatological issues, like slowing cellular development, which can cause you to show earlier signs of aging. Suspected cause of cancer & Disruptive of hormonal activity.

* Parabens – Widely used as preservatives in the cosmetic industry (including moisturizers). An estimated 13,200 cosmetic and skin care products contain parabens. Studies implicate their connection with cancer. They have hormone-disrupting qualities – mimicking estrogen – and interfere with the body’s endocrine system.

* Phenol carbolic acid– Found in many lotions and skin creams. Can cause circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, coma and even death from respiratory failure.

* Propylene glycol – Used as a moisturizer in cosmetics and as a carrier in fragrance oils. Shown to cause dermatitis, kidney or liver abnormalities, may inhibit skin cell growth, and is a skin irritant and sensitizer.

* Acrylamide– Found in many hand and face creams. Linked to mammary tumors in lab research.

* Sodium laurel or lauryl sulfate (SLS), also known as sodium laureth sulfate (SLES)– Found in car washes, engine degreasers, garage floor cleaners… and in over 90% of personal care products! SLS breaks down the skin’s moisture barrier, easily penetrates the skin, and allows other chemicals to easily penetrate. Combined with other chemicals, SLS becomes a “nitrosamine”, a potent class of carcinogen. It can also cause hair loss. SLES is sometimes disguised with the labeling “comes from coconut” or “coconut-derived" - and is found in many popular body washes and toothpastes!

* Toluene – Poison! Danger! Harmful or fatal if swallowed! Harmful if inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Made from petroleum or coal tar, and found in most synthetic fragrances. Chronic exposure linked to anemia, lowered blood cell count, liver or kidney damage, and may affect a developing fetus. Butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT) contains toluene. Other names may include benzoic and benzyl.

* Dioxane– Found in compounds known as PEG, Polysorbates, Laureth, ethoxylated alcohols. Common in a wide range of personal care products. The compounds are usually contaminated with high concentrations of highly volatile 1,4-dioxane, easily absorbed through the skin. Dioxane’s carcinogenicity was first reported in 1965 and later confirmed in studies including one from the National Cancer Institute in 1978. Nasal passages and liver are the most vulnerable. Dioxane is easily removed during the manufacturing process by “vacuum stripping”.

Warning: It is a synthetic derivative of coconut. Watch for hidden language on labels, such as “comes from coconut”.

IF SO, you should throw them away IMMEDIATELY and Tell ALL your friends and family!!!

 QUESTION:
What skin care routine is best for me?
I'm not quite sure what kind of skin care routine I should start with. I usually get blackheads on my nose, but lately I've been getting deep pimples under my eyes, along my hairline, and my forehead. They're pretty painful, and I tend to be a picker, so I figured I would nip it in the bud and just start taking better care of my skin. I have somewhat oily skin and I tend to wear makeup, and on top of that I sleep next to my boyfriend who has EXTREMELY oily skin and hair. I'm wondering what some suggestions would be for:
-face wash
-moisturizer
-eye cream
-make up remover
QUESTION:
No-fuss makeup for late 20s.?
Hi. I have combination olive skin, hazel eyes and no acne or wrinkles, but I do get a little dark under the eyes at times.I have curly black hair with dark red lowlights. I use a cream to powder foundation and a little bit of blush, but I am not satisfied. I want to really look cute. Can you help with color combinations or recommendations? I don't want to spend more then ten minutes at the mirror.

 ANSWER:
If you want to look cute, you'll want to avoid heavy makeup (like powders) and very dark colors, and instead, think youthful and playful.

Face:
Since you don't have acne, I would recommend using a tinted moisturizer that matched your skintone, instead of foundation, which will give you a more natural-looking dewy finish. For cheeks, I would use a cream blush in a rosy shade, which you can blend onto the apples of the cheeks for a natural and glowing finish.

Eyes:
You can go one of two ways here. You can create a more natural look with beige or champagne-colored shadow applied from the lashline to brow, a black cream eyeliner painted along the top lashline only in a thin line that extends slightly beyond the outer corner of the eye (flicked up in a subtle cat-eye look), and black mascara on top and bottom lashes. Or, you could create a subtle smoky eye but avoid the harsh look of black shadow by instead using grey, lavendar, shimmery brown or navy eyeshadow applied along the top and bottom lashline, then blended well with an eyeshadow brush, no eyeliner and black mascara along the top and bottom lashes.

Lips:
You can really change up your look by either doing a neutral lip (with clear lipgloss) or adding some color with lipstick. For a youthful, fun look, I like to use a pale pink, medium pink or fuschia lipstick. For a slightly more sophisticated look, I like to apply a red or plum lipstick. To keep from looking like a clown, use very neutral eyeshadow (beige or champage) when applying darker lipstick.

My favorite makeup store is definitely Sephora, because they have many different brands and price-points. My choices are Smashbox, Clinique, and Stila.

 QUESTION:
Dry skin underneath eyes?
So i've been using this new acne cream on my face, and it dried it all up.
i've always had bags underneath my eyes, but they don't really bother me. but when i felt the bags, it felt so nice when they were dry - they were so smooth
but then i looked in the mirror, and smiled, and i had gigantic wrinkles underneath them! so i've been moisturizing the hell out of them for the past 2 days, but they're still not gone.

they're not permanent (the wrinkles, that is), are they?

and do you have any recommendations for the moisturizer? right now i'm using nivea 'aqua sensation'

 ANSWER:
Yes, these products that work on one part (acne) also affect the naturally delicate eye area. The eye area doesn't have oil production like the rest of your face so it needs even more care.
Right now, be sure your diet is good with plenty of water to help the skin stay supple, lots of protein, grains, fruit & vegies to give the skin the best internal help possible.
For the outside, especially the eye area, a very heavy cream can actually be too much as it will weigh down that area. Unfortunately, once wrinkles come they're yours...you could go expensive and look into professional services--a deep moisturizing facial; services from skin specialists that are costly...
For home efforts, a regular cleansing, moisturizing routine & care for going into places like the sun, the pool, the cold will be very helpful. A lighter eye cream applied after morning and night cleansing is excellent & is what I do. Also, there are 'special creams' that can sort of make the wrinkles look lesser but won't take them away.
Personally, I love the Christian Dior cremes for face and eyes but there is Almay or Avene at your local drugstore..and these two are hypoallergenic which means no perfume so less drying to the skin.
I hope this helps:)
Oftentimes, drugstores will have "free" makeovers in their cosmetics departments...you might ask. If you try a department store be selective of which product line you would prefer to invest in.
Practice skin care as you would practice the piano and your skin will improve

No longer are costly and inferior products the only alternatives to achieving younger looking skin.

Don't spend hundreds of dollars on costly, painful, and risky Botox injections and cosmetic surgery. Act now to get your trial supply of the greatest breakthrough in wrinkle fighting technology before they run out. I saw my friend today, and realized she has very wrinkled old looking skin on her hands, is that from smoking? I know she has friends who smoke pot but im not sure about her.

 ANSWER:
Well smoking only affects you after a long period of time. So unless she is well in her 30's and has been smoking for at least 5 years - no, there must be another reason.

Smoking is NOT THAT BAD for you. I mean, it IS bad, but it is not like you get cancer (or wrinkles) after a year of smoking. And it is not like your teeth and skin turn yellow after your tenth pack... really.

I'm 15 and have ugly wrinkled, dry hands! I need a great hand lotion that isn't greasy, sticky, or that leaves my palms feeling tight and creepy.

And as for body lotion, I have VERY dry skin which gets flaky in some areas and scaly on my legs sometimes. To top it all off, it's extremely blotchy and uneven, with dark and white splotches, it also gets red easily.
I've been wondering lately if this could be due to poor circulation and lack of vitamin D?

So, any suggestions? Thanks

 Wrinkled hands?
I am an African American female age 32. I have had wrinkly hands since junior high school. I have tried all kinds of lotions nothing helps. It seems like the skin on my hands is just not tight enough. Any suggestions?

 ANSWER:
The best and quickest way is to massage very, very thoroughly every day with a natural oil - olive is good. Quickly absorbs into skin does not leave it oily. It will tighten skin and start diminishing wrinkles after a few days. It is also great for ridding skin on hands and arms of spots, marks, sun damage, scars, uneven skin and other blemishes if you rub them over and over many times on a daily basis. I rid my hands and arms of even warts and moles using this treatment.

SOURCE(S): Many years research, self experimentation - natural cures, treatments of skin, scalp and hair disorders and anti aging, rejuvenation treatments.

 QUESTION:
What say to "Bering Strait, Mexico, And New York" Poem?

1. Migration

The pregnant and the old straggled along jagged cliffs,
Following their young hunters' path...no frost-snorting horses
To carry the sick. Only thick-furred, black dogs...pets when
Stomachs were full.
Sons, born in the mountain snows, did not cry in the plains below.
Wails filled the high passes, etching stunted trees, then
Drifted down...on.
Voices echoed to each other. Bones marked the trail. When pelts
Hung loose on hips...shadows sat around the fire, grim-jawed,
Faces grizzled.
Children laughed with the puppies at sunset. And old men smiled
Through their eyes.
By dawn, fire ashes cold, footsteps wound to the south, disturbing
Only shriveled blades.
A week-old wolf kill...arms became strong. An ancient deer dying
By a stream...stomachs quieted.
A shadow...holding a skull to the waning sun.

2. Mexico

To the moon, an upraised, warrior skull...chants scattered the
Density of sweet incense.
Limestone blocks riveled red, priests' hair matted, robes stained
Stiff.
A young girl waited in a damp chamber. She smiled for her young
Man in the war. Tlaloc-God came. As she ascended temple steps,
Her love, shorn of Eagle armor, proudly entered the enemies camp,
Wrists fettered.

At dawn, corn cakes sizzled...old women stirred peppers into the
Beans. Two boys played with Jaguar claws. The father hoed corn.
At dawn, twelve thousand chained, climbed temple steps.
The Hummingbird God came...blood ran to the plains. Drums died
At twilight. Cakes, beans devoured. The father went to his field.

3. Thirty-Fifth Street

Offices hang in parallels. Coolers bubble. Khaki-clad janitors shuffle
Down vacant halls.
Huge glass doors are locked against streets.
In kerosene-scented basements, the sick dream feverishly
Of cool, mountain streams...snow, sorrow.
Pictures of animals, trees, crowd split, plastered walls.
Electric poles lift arms to the sun...sparrows twitter
Over crumbs.
Ambulances shriek past red-lighted intersections to waiting pain,
Deposit their sheeted burden...
Search for another.

Somewhere on the Old Continent, fur-cuffed, weather-wrinkled hands,
Skin their kills
With finely manufactured
Japanese knives.

I have eczema on my hands. My skin is like wrinkled and scaley.
It's SO SO embarrassing. I just want the scales and wrinkles to go away!
Can anyone help? PLEASE. thankyou.

The cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.
After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments.
Now I use serenaskin herbal remedies.
After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up, and I continue with eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months.
QUESTION:
Dry, cracked, bleeding skin on hands?
The backs of my hands got so seriously chapped over the winter, that the color of them actually changed, getting much darker than my normal skin color. They are painfully dry and wrinkled (I'm 27 years old and my hands look like I'm in my 80s!) and they crack and bleed sometimes when I bend my fingers. Lotions haven't helped and I can't use sanitizer instead of washing my hands, because it burns horribly. Is this an actual condition? Is there anything I can do about it? Please help. It really hurts.

 ANSWER:
I have the same thing happen to me. Usually, I'm sure to dry my hands very good in the winter, moisturize, and I do not let my hands hit the open air for more than maybe a few minutes, becuase my hands start to do that then.

I used to wash my hands a lot few years ago which may have contributed to the wrinkles on my hands, but I have no idea about my feet. QUESTION:
Is wrinkled skin after bathing normal?

I have a 13 year old son, and he is in swimming lessons 3 days a week. After his hour lesson, we quickly run into the family changeroom he takes a quick shower and I make sure he gets a move on quickly because usually he will take WAY too long himself, (also pool policy to use family) and I've noticed that his skin is all wrinkled, not just on his hands and toes, but on his arms/legs/feet and stomach basically his whole body. It doesn't stay wrinkled for just a few minutes, it will stay like that for a couple hours sometimes even up to 4 hours, where it just feels all wrinkled and shriveled.

What should I do to prevent this from happening? Even at home when he takes a shower or bath thats over 10 minutes, his skin gets all wrinkled for a very long time. I was even tempted to apply a firming/toning lotion on him but I'm not sure if thats a good idea or maybe it is?

 QUESTION:
Why does my son get wrinkled skin after going in the water for a prolongled period of time?

I have a 13 year old son, and he is in swimming lessons 3 days a week.
Any ideas?

It doesn't happen with me.
its not just his toes and fingertips, its his whole body. It just seems real odd to me, because you normally should have silky smooth skin after you finish bathing, not wrinkled up skin that looks damaged.

 ANSWER:
That's completely normal and happens to everyone. I don't know why it doesn't happen with you. Maybe you don't spend that long in the water? Or maybe your skin is thinner? This happens with thicker skin.

Our skin cells absorb a little bit of
water when we soak too long in the tub, he says. And because the skin
on our palms and the bottoms of our fingers and feet are thicker than
other parts of our skin, they swell more than the rest of us. Because
this swelling layer of skin is connected underneath to tissue that
does not swell, the skin buckles. Hence, wrinkled fingers and toes.

Be gentle with your skin and it will go a long way in keeping it smooth and supple. Gently massage the face with glycerin-honey mixture. Dip a cotton pad in unbeaten egg white, and smooth it across wrinkles. Leave it on for an hour and remove it with a cotton dipped in ice-cold water. old looking hands and feet! help?
hi i have always had very very dry and wrinkled hands and feet every since i was little. i am now 17 and its just now starting to bother me, because i feel like no one would want to hold my hands , because my hands and feet look very old and feel very dry like sand paper (well to me). my skin on my feet and hands are tight but some how still wrinkly.is there a way i can fix this or is it just to late?

 ANSWER:
Before going to bed, put Skin Milk body cream on your hands and feet generously, then put on gloves and socks. That body cream is more loaded down with beneficial vitamins and ingredients than any cream or lotion I've seen before. The gloves and socks help hold it in while you sleep instead of letting it rub off (like a long term deep conditioning treatment). I had a horrible time when I was pregnant with scaly hands and feet, and this took care of them (that's a common late pregnancy thing... alligator skin, yuck). I tried all the old tricks and none of them worked, from home made scrubs to sea salts to oils, and this ended up being the only thing that worked.

Oh, make sure you wash them in the morning, too... you'll probably still have a layer of lotion on.

 QUESTION:
How can you make your skin less wrinkled? Get rid of tan?
I don't take good care of my skin.
I never wear Sun Screen Lotion when I'm outside.
And I don't cover my skin up with sweaters/hoodies/etc.
Been like that for years.
So the result?
Wrinkled, SCALY skin with a dark brown tan.

I really want to get my light, scale-less skin back. [like i did 2 years ago]
1. How can I get those wrinkles out for good? I hate my scaly skin so much. I'm currently putting a bunch of lotions that makes my skin smoother, but not scale-less. I only have the scaly skin on my shoulders, arms, hands, and legs. Everywhere else is really not so scaly. Is there a particular type of lotion that I should use to get rid of these? I am currently using Neutrogena brands that are supposed to like make my skin moisturized, but it's only been 3 weeks so I don't think results are supposed to be showing up yet.

2. And my tan... I jog a lot during the day and I never put on sunscreen.. No wonder my skin is so tanned. Anyway, I'm starting to put on sunscreen. Will my skin return to the light skin I used to have? I read about this and it will return, but I need to stay inside and keep out of contact of sun.
I would like to speed up the process. I heard rubbing lemon on skin helps and rubbing alcohol destroys cells and new cells are made... And they say after the old cells are gone, my lighter cells beneath will appear?

So if you know the answer to any or BOTH, I would appreciate!
It's just that I noticed that I'm very... brown for an asian and It's so weird -.-
thanks!

 ANSWER:
It all depends on two things :
1) How old are you.
2) How much did you "grilled" yourself.

1) The younger you are the most likely your skin will heal- there is a difference between a 16, 20 year old- and a 30 - 40 year old skin.
2) Were you one of those people who went to the beach often? salon?
There is a big deference between people who expose themself on purpose, and people who "just don't use sunscreen".

If you use sunscreen and won't go for a tan - your skin will be back being lighter.
As for the scaling skin- I recommend you use Neutrogena's foot or hand cream: Wash your face, leave it a bit damp, and put the cream on (this is very concentrated stuff, a pea size drop will cover a large area).

 QUESTION:
My mom is 45 years old and has loose skin on her arms and hands. It looks like the arms of a 64 year old! ?
My mom is 45 years old and she doesn't have any health problems, except low thyroid. Also, she doesn't sun bathe and is pretty normal considering weight. Her arms and hands have lost their elasticity and we don't know why. Plus, she doesn't have any wrinkles on her face. QUESTION:
Why do my hands wrinkle so quickly when wet?
When in the shower/bath my hands wrinkle almost straight away. After 2-3 minutes it's like i've been soaking in the tub for 45. Also if I've been in for a while or have had my hands in water (washing up) for a while, i get white blotches on the inside of my hands, and the skin on my palms gets very itchy and even painful. My hands tend to turn very white when they wrinkle.

Does anyone know why this may happen? I've read up a little and someone has suggested hyperhidrosis but I don't really sweat irregularly. I often have clammy hands but I don't suffer from abnormal amounts of sweat.

I'm 23, 5"10 and a 16 stone.

 ANSWER:
Because water carries out osmosis out of your hand as there is a lower concentration in the surroundings than in your hand. Your skin may be more partially permeable than normal and that will cause more osmosis. The water will drain out from your hand. It has nothing to do with sweat though you might want to seek a doctor to have something to toughen your hands

 QUESTION:
If i get a small tattoo on my hand will it get messed up when i get older?
will the skin on my hands get wrinkled when i get old
I want a small tattoo on my thumb

 ANSWER:
Not necessarily messed up, but your skin tone and tightness start to change a long time before you are actually "wrinkled" and the tattoo will most likely fade or change in coloring. You may also want to think about that with it being on your hand, you will not be able to hide it, as a tattoo on your arm, etc. You would be surprised at the amount and types of jobs these days that do not want any visible types of tattoos on employees. My boyfriend now has two small hand tattoos that he got before he was 20, and now he is older and really wishes they weren't there.(I love them personally, just telling you how he feels.) Its not fair that people judge on appearances, but they do. Just something to think about!Peace

 QUESTION:
Oily or Dry skin?
I've always thought that my skin would be considered oily, b/c it gets really shiny, I have large pores, and breakouts. Sometimes it gets dry & flaky too. But I've heard recently that people with oily skin age slowly. I am 32 and have wrinkles on my forehead and small ones around my eyes. Also, I have extremely dry, wrinkled hands and dry/cracked heels. So, do I have oily or dry skin? What can I do for my hands and feet? What products should I use on my face?

 ANSWER:
You have combination skin. I have a simliar skin type. Try moistorizing frequently. Also, try using facial toner. This balances the oils on the skin to keep it at the perfect pH balance which will improve the look of your skin and make you look younger.

 QUESTION:
Is it normal for your skin to stay wrinkled after being in the water, even after 2 hours?

When I take a bath, only my hands and toes get wrinkled, and they only stay that way for a couple minutes.

 ANSWER:
For your hands, I would suggest Neutrogena Hand Cream. It is really thick and sticky, but if you put it on well at night and cover your hands with white gloves, in the morning your hands will feel a lot better. You have to do this every night until your hands are healed. Then do it periodically before your hands get really dry. Maybe once or twice a week.

For the rest of your body, Eucerin cream works really well. You also have to put it on everyday until you skin heals. After taking your bath or shower and before you dry your skin, put a few drops of baby oil in your hand and rub it on the dry skin and then pat dry with a towel. It will guck the towel up, but it is worth it and does work. Also, don't take hot baths or showers and don't soak in the tub in hot water. If you take baths, put bath oil in the water.

 QUESTION:
Will my dry calloused skin on my hands go away?
At the moment my job requires me to handle heavy cardboard cases 10 hours a night straight and it's naturally drying my hands out and forming calloused skin on my entire palm not to mention I work out in the weather from 30-95 degrees. I use lotion but that only works so much, my question is, when I change jobs and finally quit abusing my skin will my hands get soft again? ANSWER:
You should see your GP. It could be fungal infection which can be passed from one to the other.
If you share clothing, towels, bedrooms etc., you could be passing onto your brothers and sisters.
It is easily treated and if it persists your GP will refer you to a Dermatologist (treats skin problems).
It could also be contact dermatitis possibly if you are in contact with a cat, dog, rabbit or hamster etc. It could also also be from some of the lotions and potions young folk today put on their hair, faces and skin. Dermatologist would also do a sensitivity test which is painless. Good luck.

 ANSWER:
It's good that you moisturise on a daily basis this is what I do, and it does help with out you realising it, although you are correct - It doesn't get rid of all the wrinkles and dry skin! So the main thing is to drink water, or healthy fruit juice if your like me, a person that doesn't like water! It may not seem like much, but seriously it is all that you need! Some people have natural wrinkles and some you can't get rid of. Just don't get any phoney skin cream that you know won't work, but want to try it just for the sake of it!

 ANSWER:
Wrinklish hands?Your hands are one of the first places to show signs of dehydration by looking dry and wrinklish. One of the easiest ways to tell whether or not you are dehydrated is to pinch the skin on the back of your hand and see how long it takes to return to it's normal position. When you are dehydrated,it takes longer for the skin to recover.
When you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated,so drink plenty of water throughout the day.If it is hot or you are very active, you will need more than the recommended six to eight glasses a day. After a shower and drying your hands,it is recommended to use a moisturising lotion immediately on your hands and face to retain maximum moisture of the skin to prevent wrinkling.
Just watering the leaves alone dose not make a plant grow healthy. One has to water the roots. Our skin is really susceptible to a poor diet.Vitamin A is essential for the growth and repair of body tissue.Other causes of dryness and wrinkling may be linked to poor intake of sulphur or essential intake of fatty acids or vitamin C.Vitamin E is an essential part of cell membranes. As a result, too little of either can result into this.
The key to it is to eat a balanced diet that contains a wide range of nutrients.Vitamin A is found in whole milk, cheese, butter, egg yolk, liver, oil rich fish and dark green vegetables.Sulphur rich foods include meat, fish, nuts, cheese and eggs.Vitamin E is found in vegetable oils, margarine, nuts and eggs.

HELP! My friend punched a metal door 5 days ago & his hand is still swollen & in pain. Should he go to the ER?
He says it still hurts a lot, and it's pretty swollen. I don't think anything is broken. The skin on his hand is also a little wrinkled and obviously bruised.
He says it isn't a big deal, but I'm a little more worried about it. Haha! What should he do to help it heal? Would it be a good idea to get it checked out, or does it sound like something that will heal on it's own?
Thanks for the advice everyone. I know I may sound dense, but he keeps assuring me that it's not a problem & my gut feeling is otherwise. I'll get him to put ice on it in the meantime, & convince him to get to the ER.
U should use vitamin e oil. It's gr8 for aging skin, wrinkles etc.Bio oil is good too.Apply it on ur face and wherever else u need to a while b4 u go to bed.Never put oil on ur face if it's sunny cos u will burn bad.Use a hand moisturizer.Try using an oil free moisturizer on ur face aswell.Seriously a good diet and keeping fit/healthy/happy will reduce ur acne.I suffer from acne but it's really minor now.Drink lots of water and green tea.Stay away from creams and especially antibiotics. It's a waste of time and money cos very few work and they hav negative effects.Acne is caused by bad unhealthy diets, stress and hormones.U can try preventing it as much as possible by following a daily plan and looking after ur personal hygiene.

 QUESTION:
How do you keep your skin silky smooth after you take a bath?

When I take a bath, only my hands and toes get wrinkled, and they only stay that way for a couple minutes.

Any ideas?

If you have a younger son/daughter who is still a baby, what would you do if this was happening? My son doesn't say he is itchy, but I don't like the feeling or the look of his skin. I was JUST about to grab my nivea firming lotion I use on myself after bathing and give him a good rub down with it, but I decided to ask for your opinion first to see if that would be a good idea.

 QUESTION:
Does the skin on your legs age as fast as the rest of the body?
Hopefully I worded this question right.
Obviously our skin becomes aged as we do, and wrinkles, age spots, etc, increase due to sun damage, which makes our skin age faster.
Of course a fit, young looking, older person with excellent skin's age could be given away by aged hands and neck, which age faster than the rest of the body.
Compared to the rest of the body, how fast does the skin on the LEGS age?
Will they age faster due to (light OR heavy) sun damage?
Will keeping your legs fit and toned as you age decrease the aging of the skin?
