The Best Rated Over The Counter Wrinkle Cream Just Means You Do Not Require A Prescription

You have just heard a product referred to as the best rated over the counter wrinkle cream, yet you cannot find it in your local drug store. Why is this?

Mainly because just saying over the counter makes people think of items they can purchase at their local drugstore. So when they hear this they think the wrinkle cream should be available at their drugstore.

Every company also says they have the best rated over the counter wrinkle cream. However, we all know this is not true just by the sheer number of these creams we have tried.

One product also may work for some, but not for others. The one product that will work for everyone is based on something that everyone has in their body.

Collagen and elastin are what holds the skin together. These are the proteins the body uses to maintain wrinkle-free skin and skin that does not sag.

When the body ceases to make these two proteins, the aging process starts. The lines will start to form and the firmness we once had goes away.

This is what a good wrinkle cream will address. The best way to help the body to produce the collagen and elastin needed for smooth skin is the goal of a good wrinkle cream.

This does not happen by adding collagen to the cream because the molecules are much too large to be absorbed by skin. The answer lies in what can be added to the cream to encourage the body to start producing collagen and elastin once again.

Do you know what these products are? They are all natural products that are found in plants such as Japanese sea kelp.

There are others such as essential oils. They may be found in rosewood oil and lanolin.

The key is to find the natural products that are going to do the utmost for your skin. This is what is being referred to when people say best rated over the counter wrinkle cream.

Many of these creams may contain ingredients that you do not want to put on your skin. Some products have chemicals added such as fragrances, alcohol and parabens.

These ingredients are not necessary. Fragrances are made from chemicals that have shown toxic reactions with the body.

Parabens are preservatives made from chemicals. They are known as a possible cancer causing agent as well as having toxins that are bad for the body.

Alcohol is known to be an ingredient that dries out your skin so using this product will cause your skin to be dry which causes more wrinkles. So just by knowing which products are bad for your skin you can read ingredients and know if a product will help or harm your skin.

As well as knowing which ones are bad, knowing which ones are beneficial will allow you to choose a product that is going to help get rid of wrinkles. This is a much better idea than trying products until you find one that actually works.

How much simpler could it be? Finding the best rated over the counter wrinkle cream is all about knowing what the ingredients being used in the product will do and will not do.

			QUESTION:
What's the best over the counter wrinkle cream?
For women in their 50's. It has to be over the counter. I have heard stories about sites, such as hydroxatone, that once they have your credit card number, they got you roped in, and keep sending you their product and billing you.

				ANSWER:
None of those anti aging products works. Many are not approved by the FDA, it's trendy right now because people are desperate. You can't plump a raisin back to grapes, not possible. You can try soaking them with serum, or whale sperm, or water or juice, but it's never the same as before. Skin is the same thing . . . that's why people go for the faster route. They travel to Brazil to get a cheap surgery, but they come back to Beverly Hills to get them corrected.

The function of the FDA is to monitor new drugs, such as anti aging products, entering into the marketplace and ensure that they are safe and effective. Unfortunately, many anti aging skin care products as well as other anti aging products use wild and exaggerated claims in their marketing materials.

According to the FDA, a big controversy with some of the advertising are claims that anti aging products will rejuvenate or repair or restructure the skin. These types of claims lead to speculation that the product is causing structural changes to the skin. If this is true, these products should be classified as drugs and should be removed from the market until the FDA has approved them. Conversely, if these claims are not true, the companies should stop claiming these features for their products.

In the past, the FDA has sent regulatory letters to the cosmetic companies making these types of claims informing them that they may be in violation of federal laws.

The High End Anti Aging Market
The anti aging product market is one of the biggest markets in the United States. Each year consumers spend billions of dollars on unproven anti aging products in an attempt to slow down the aging process. The FDA as well as others consider this a danger because taking an unproven and untested product could very easily cause near or long term damage to someone.
While there are dozens of high-end brands, experts say many low-cost brands are just as effective. Moreover, many cosmetic firms are owned by the same parent company, so the exclusive label that makes high-end brands may be affiliated with the maker of more downscale products. For example, L'Oreal owns Maybelline, Lancome and Biotherm; Estee Lauder owns Clinique, Prescriptives and Origins; Almay is owned by Revlon. Experts say there's little need to spend three or four times more for a department-store moisturizer unless you particularly like its feel or scent.
However, under the current laws, the FDA is limited in its ability to oversee and enforce the claims made for anti aging products by manufacturers . The FDA is also limited by funding and political concerns in its ability to independently conduct the large studies that are sometimes necessary to test the claims made regarding these products. So, more than ever before it's up to the consumer to do his or her own investigation regarding any anti aging claims made for products that they may be interested in taking.

A perfect example is Botox, or botulinum toxin A. The FDA approved a Botox product that would temporarily improve the appearance of frown lines. Yet, many feel that this was an ill advised move. The fact that it is a toxin is a bright warning sign that it should not be used in a cavalier manner. This is a toxin that in large doses can be fatal and if used excessively may even harm nerves. Many feel that more testing should have been done before granting approval, but funding limitations and political considerations will always win in a contest between them and the public good.

With so many Americans enamored of using products to make them look more beautiful or younger we can expect hundreds more anti aging products to hit the shelves in the coming years. And there is simply no way that the FDA will be able to adequately test them all.

So even though an FDA approved product does not necessarily mean that an anti-aging product is safe or that it works as advertised, the FDA sign of approval is a point in its favor.
Listen. . . . I've been protecting myself from the sun since I was 9.

1. Because I don't want to look like a farmer.
2. Because I get too hot.
3. I want to look like movie stars & models, they have blemish-free skins.
4. I don't want to look like an old prune or get moles on my neck & face like my aunts.

No matter, I still got Discoid Lupus (Google it), caused from the sun. It took 12 years for them to fade. Tried all kinds of lotions that were prescribed to me, and none of them worked. More & more now I protect myself and I take my wide brim hat everywhere I go, or use an umbrella. In Asia, they use umbrella all the time. Here in the States, people started to catch on, and I see people walking w/umbrella, they are used on the beach, and they sell patio umbrellas. It was invented for a reason and also to protect us from getting skin cancer.

The sun is more powerful than most people think!

If you are looking for home remedy to reduce wrinkles, try this.
QUESTION:
Best over the counter cream that minimizes wrinkles around the eye?
What is it and where do I get it? Mary Kay, Lancome, what????
Yes, I use Mary Kay cleanser and make up and I am going to try the new eye firming cream. I wanted to know other ideas.

				ANSWER:
Any cream that irritates the skin and induces swelling will help to minimize wrinkles around the eyes.

You might want to try improving the health of the cells to keep your skin healthy. Healthy skin doesn't age as fast as chemically irritated skin that has been artificially swollen. This is like little stretch marks around your eyes making the wrinkles and fine lines more noticable when you aren't using the products that induce irritation and swelling.

what's the best wrinkle cream that really works?
I've tried everything from Roc products, L'Oreal, and just about any product you can think of that's over the counter. Thing is, I don't use them long enough to show any results. I need to know how long it'll take before I see actual results that it's working. Can you tell me something that actually works and how long before I see results?

				ANSWER:
You need to discover Arbonne. It is an all natural company. It is a little more expensive but is AMAZING. You could see results in less then a week. Honestly. The things you are using on your skin is really unhealthy. Whatever you do do not use anything that has sea salt in it all that does is make little scratches in your skin that will turn into wrinkles later on if you use a scrub make sure it is a walnut scrub.

The Oil of Olay brand is a wonderful and most effective skin product. Try the Anti Wrinkle Night Cream for your face and neck. Look for the special eye serums and creams for use each night and every day for around your delicate eyes. This is a very good product line and when it is tried, used and if you stick with it...you will find positive definite results.

This is the number one skin treatment line that has proven itself throughout the years to be both effective and dependable to its millions of faithful customers. For an over the counter product this brand name has shown the world it can stand strong with the test of time. The labs at Oil of Olay have kept their promises to us all by keeping up with modern day discoveries and improving every product in its line with the latest and newest discoveries in skin care.

Whats a good wrinkle cream or serum?
I am 21 years old and I'm starting to notice the fine lines that start to begin at this age, nothing serious, just minor things that I would like to start preventing from getting worse. Under my eyes is what bothers me the most and I'm also looking for something for the entire face just to keep my face looking bright. I may try micro dermabrasion since they offer it at the salon I work at. But what do you think are the best firming lotions and wrinkle lotions for under the eyes and the face. So far I like prescriptives undereye reconstructive cream, it works almost instantly but you have to keep useing it (i think it just puffs up the eyes a little to hide the lines) but over time you do see a big difference. I'm interested to hear if anyone has seen any real results with drugstore products and make up counter products and how long it took. Just curious.

				ANSWER:
Try Retin A/Retinol - it's a powerful wrinkle fighter. It's basically just vitamin A in it's purest form. I use the one by NeoStrata - the night-time one. It's about a tube at the drugstore and worth every penny. You have to be careful, though as a lot of product advertise that they have retin A but don't specify how much. It needs to be at least .015% to be effective. I noticed results within a month and have been controlling my wrinkles for a long time. It's not actually supposed to be used near your eyes but I'm really careful not to get too close and haven't had any problems. Good luck.

			QUESTION:
What is the best cold cream to use on my face ?
I just turned 44 years old and I am starting to notice that I'm getting wrinkles around my eyes. I also have some dry spots on my face that I never had before. Not all over my face but just in a couple of small areas on my face. I have been trying some new creams that are over the counter such as Nivea and it helps the dry areasbut makes the rest of my face seem oilly. I am now useing the dove cream and that too is making my face more oilly. Does anyone have any suggestions on this matter ?

			QUESTION:
Are you over 30 and use anti-wrinkle products, what do you use and do they work & cellulite products?
I'm 34 and just starting to notice some wrinkling mainly under my eyes. I hear Aveeno has a new line with the Shitake Mushhroom that is supposed to be good. I love Lancome and Clinique but don't want to spend tons of money. Should I be using special cleansers for my combination skin as well? Do you put these anti-wrinkle creams under your make-up? What about Oil of Olay? The important thing is that they won't clog pores. Can you use just one product or do you need to get a bunch for different areas of your skin? I need help! I'm afraid to get a consultation from a department store counter 'cause they want to make commission and like I said, I don't want to spend an arm and a leg because I don't have the money and if it's not necessary, why bother! Probably the best things are not to smoke, eat healthy, and avoid the sun, right? Plus, wrinkles are highly genetic right? What about cellulite products, do they work? There is so much out there, I'm confused! HELP!

				ANSWER:
I'm 32 I noticed I was spending too much money on Lancome and Aveda.

I started using Aveeno and products from the Body Shop(they don't' get commission there). They work great, I have had no problem using their products. As far as Oil of Olay goes I like their eye creams. Oil of Olay is a bit too oily for my skin I have oily/normal combination skin.

I don't have cellulite but best thing is to do some exercise 3x a week and build muscle tone. I use the Nivea products for cellulite it really maks your skin smoother behind your legs. I hear their patches for cellulite helps.

Wrinkles are genetic but you can slow them down, like you said don't smoke, eat good and exericise. You can go out in the sun just make sure your use products with an spf of 15.

			QUESTION:
what can you replace for butter in this cookie recipe below?
This is a recipe for the very best sugar cookies you'll ever make. Be sure to read entire recipe, most especially the notes at the bottom, before making these cookies.

Be sure to check-out the page with photo instructions too.
Prep Time: 3 hours, 25 minutes
Cook Time: 08 minutes
Ingredients:
1-1/2 cups sugar
2/3 cup shortening or butter*
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3-1/4 cups flour
2-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Preparation:
Early in the day or the day before: In a large bowl cream the shortening and the sugar. Add the eggs, extract, and milk. In a medium bowl mix the dry ingredients with a wire whisk. Add the dry ingredients to the large bowl. Mix with mixer until well combined. With hands, shape dough into a ball. Wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Roll** half or 1/3 dough at a time, keep the rest refrigerated. For crisp cookies, roll dough, paper thin. For softer cookies, roll 1/8 " to 1/4" thick.

With floured cookie cutter, cut into shapes. Re-roll trimmings and cut. Place cookies 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheets. Decorate*** Bake 8 minutes or until very light brown. With pancake turner, remove cookies to racks; cool. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.

*I've found that if you want "sturdy and tasty" cookies you should use 1/2 shortening and 1/2 butter. Shortening makes cookies sturdy and butter makes them tasty.

** Rolling Hints: Sue B. says: " Roll the dough out BEFORE chilling and then chill. I roll out my sugar cookie dough right after it is mixed up between 2 sheets of waxed paper, place it on to a flat baking sheet and put it in the fridge. Continue until all the dough is rolled out, stacking the dough sheets on top of the first one. You will go through a lot of waxed paper, but the convenience is worth it for me. When you're ready to cut them out, take out one sheet at a time, peel off the top waxed paper, lightly rub some flour onto the dough, replace the waxed paper and flip the dough sheet over. Peel off the now top sheet of waxed paper and you're ready to cut out your cookies. Collect the dough scraps in a plastic baggie so they don't dry out, re-roll when you have enough for a large sheet. I reuse some of the waxed paper sheets for re-rolling the scraps. A couple tips..... If the waxed paper slips on the counter while rolling, wipe the counter with a damp cloth. And while rolling the dough, sometimes the bottom waxed paper wrinkles, flip over the dough and waxed paper, release waxed paper and re-roll. This method of rolling out cookie dough has been a real time and mess saver for me." ShadoeRose says: "I have found that it is difficult to roll if attempting to do so immediately after taking out of the refrigerator. Take a portion of the dough out and put the rest back in the refrigerator as you don't want the dough to get to room temperature. Let the piece you are working with, warm slightly but keeping beneath room temperature. Experiment with different lengths of time of warming until you find the temperature you find the easiest to work with."

***To decorate with colored sugars: Prepare cookies by brushing with heavy cream or an egg white slightly beaten with 1 tablespoon of water. Sprinkle with decorative toppings.

***To decorate with food colors: Mix 1 egg yolk and 1/4 teaspoon water. Divide mixture among several custard cups. Tint each with different food color to make bright colors. (If paint thickens while standing, stir in a few drops of water.) Paint designs on cookies with small paint brushes.

Frequently Asked Questions

			QUESTION:
Will this work for dark circles i found it on the internet?
Do an Answers Search and you will learn that many have tried teabags and report that they did absolutely nothing to reduce dark circles.
There is an epidemic of under eye bags and circles and many are reported by those in teens or early twenties. The main reason is reaction to skin sickening toxins in skin care, cosmetic and skin medicating products. Many teenage girls use 20 or more products daily and an alarming number of products contain skin(and health) harming toxins. See this site Skin Deep Cosmetic Database. A Feelgood Resource. The Database tested many thousands of products and identifies which ones are the most harming and those which are non or only minimally harming. So first thing to do is select the none or least harming products.

Then try these safe, natural, tried and tasted treatments that quickly and permanently get rid of them. They really work and have helped many on Answers

This is a response I received from wannabeblue28:
“Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face with oil using my fingers and hands and It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. …… My skin looks so much tighter everywhere and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young.”

She had seen an answer I gave about how vigorous face massaging with pure natural oils had permanently rid my face of acne AND removed my bags/circles. Massage greatly tightens skin under and around the eye area and the bags go away. Find Answer with a search "Mukunda M vigorous massage to remove eye bags/circles"

The most helpful ones are:
(Using both hands together) massage with palms and front of fingers held together
(1) Do long up and down sweeps close to nose from chin area up to near eyes.
(2) Do another up and back at an angle from chin point to cheek bone.
(3) Do fast up and down massage close to eye from cheek bones at an angle of 45 degrees (on your crows feet).
Best if do for several minutes daily – will markedly tighten skin in eye area and diminish the circles in the first two or three days. Use any oil. Olive is good.
IMPORTANT: To avoid skin pulling first make facial skin taught by partially opening mouth and pulling lips firmly back against teeth (tightens most of face)

Use any natural oil. Extra virgin olive oil works well for many.
Additionally facial yoga exercises help a great deal. Find on You Tube. Do the “The lion face” and try to hold for 30 seconds. A variation of that is protruding the tongue as if trying to touch tip of nose with tip of tongue.

YOGA MEDITATION is a great help and is easy to do. It enables you to completely relax and gives you deep, restful sleep. 6 or 7 hours of restful sleep is considerably more beneficial than 8 or 9 more hours of non restful sleep. I found Siddha Yoga meditation was the most beneficial.

				ANSWER:
Yes it will. It is MY ANSWER that I gave to a question posted on ANSWERS asking how to get help to reduce dark circles. I have had feedback from many on Answers who have said the treatments worked for them.
Here's a response from Candy
Asker's Comment: I tried this a day or 2 ago, OMGosh it workedd out amazingly, thx some much and thx to you who ansered, they were all good answers. =D

			QUESTION:
Anti-aging products for a 20 yr. old, HELP! Healthy skin?
Hi Everyone, so i'm going to be turning 20 in December, and recently I've taken more of an interest in any products that could better my skin. You know how there are people who are in their 40s and appear to look in their late 20s or early 30s? HOW DO THEY DO THAT?

Ever since I was a little girl I've always had lines under my eyes (almost like bags, or dark circles), I thought it was genetic since my sister has them too only I am more of a fair skinned tone then she is, meaning they are much more noticeable on me. Recently with age though they have become more prominent and I want to know what are certain remedies I can do, products I can buy to help me not only reduce any visible signs of aging, but hopefully get rid of these dark circles in the long run, at least improve and not get worse as I continue to get older.

I have really good skin, rarely breaking out. Sometimes my nose gets a bit oily but this has only happened occasionally, a skin cleanser can cure that. I'm concerned with my eyes mostly, when I truly smile the little crows feet appear, then again I do have a bit of extra skin on my face for being a bit fuller (I weigh in the 150's) so it could be a result of that, it also creates some fine lines on my forehead (creases) like when I raise my eyebrows. I am in the process of just doing a complete health do-over, eating right, working out, sleeping more, and I also see the importance of taking care of my skin. I understand in order to look and feel young and healthy, it takes working on all these different aspects to achieve any form of success.

I just need help in finding the products that work best for me, I don't want to have to go to a dermatologist, I'm not ever sure how to begin a search to find one let alone if it would be affordable. If anyone has some good advice on products that would significantly improve my skin around my eyes and help prevent wrinkles or any other aging signs from appearing at an earlier rate, I would appreciate it very much! No, i'm not trying to seek the fountain of youth here, but if starting now can help push back these natural process by a couple of years, then why wait? I want to be able to turn 30, and look like i'm 22 or something. I'm not saying this is easily achievable, or realistic, but I want to have a significant improvement in my skin just because I took the action to better it and my lifestyle. Comments would be helpful, thanks again!

			QUESTION:
How do i get rid of the crease on my outer eye?
it sometimes gets red and irritated. Its almost like crows feet, but it is not a wrinkle, its like a natural creaseformed in my eye. i look around at other people my age and they dont have it! is it just the shape of my eye? lately ive been puting lotion on my eyes and the crease daily to help soothe it and minimize the appearance of it, it seems to be helping with the redness but its still there. Would eye creams help or can i do nothing about it? it seems like the crease is where my cheek bone/face plane or whatever and brow bone meet, so the skin there is not wrinkly, but its thin and often red. coverup hides it, but id like it gone!

Avocado and Almond Oil Cream: Avocado and Sweet Almond Oil are rich in Vitamin E that moisturize, nourish and prevent wrinkles and crow's feet. Take one fully ripe Avocado and blend it with 3 tsp. Sweet Almond Oil with the help of a hand blender. Apply it around your eyes and wipe off after fifteen minutes. Do this everyday before going to bed. This mixture can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.

Citrus Treat: Vitamin C helps in fading wrinkles so why not make it a part of your anti-aging regimen? Take one tbsp. Fresh Orange Juice and mix it with one tsp. Fresh Lemon Juice and apply it around your eyes. Rinse off after ten minutes.

Healing with Oils-Don't forget that moisturization is the best way to prevent wrinkles and crow's feet and when it comes to treating crow's feet Castor Oil and Sesame Oil could be a blessing. QUESTION:
How to get rid of crows feet?
I am a 23 yr old male and everytime I smile, I get this wrinkles below to the side of my eyes....basically,crows feet...I hate em tho...when I pull back the skin and smile I like it a lot better with no wrinkles.....how do I get rid of these???

				ANSWER:
I had premature crows feet, lines and wrinkles caused by harmful product use and then stopped virtually all product use except a pure bar soap with no chemicals whatsoever. No coloring, no fragrances, no preservatives - and it quickly reversed the aging. And I substituted safe natural oils for moisturizing products. They actually rejuvenate the face particularly if briskly massaged into face for a few minutes daily.

A truly very effective diminisher/remover of lines is this safe natural one. I'ts helped many on Answers. Here's a testimonial from a happy 19 year old user "big papy"
(Go to her profile for her other complimentary answers to the same wrinkle cure questions I answered):

".... I want you to know that i did continue the massage with tightening the skin around my mouth area and the lines are
almost gone - thank you so much, you have changed my life. Also my crows feet are all most gone too! I finally look my age!"

Use extra virgin olive, sweet almond, jojoba or grape seed oils.
CROWS FEET: Can be very quickly greatly minimized by rubbing up and down on them with oils quite vigorously with first three fingers held close together. Even deep lines can be greatly diminished.

Helpp! Is there any remidies to get rid of them... i'm too young for surgery too...?

any good eye creams out there?

				ANSWER:
If you're in your mid to late 20s like me, then I would recommend something like Loreal Eye Defense or Oil of Olay Eye Lifting Serum. Both are bit pricey ( for Loreal, for Oil of Olay) but worth it.

Then again, if you are under 25, I would suggest only using moisturizer and drinking a lot of water. You're too young to be using a ton of creams. Hell, I somewhat am too but I am two and a half years shy of 30.

Read the book Perricones Diet by: Dr. Perricone. you can look it up on google and other stuff.
For creams, Dr.Perricone is great you can see him in allure magazine and sephora, and he has his own site. Great for ur kind of issues. His products are a bit expensive though. The book tells u more then just products. Also, if that doesont wokr try a dermatologist. Oh, one more thing try Kate Somerville her books. Their excellent.
i don't smoke or anything. and i have crow's feet even when i'm not smiling. ok thanks i found some anit wrinkle in my mom's cabinet hahaha

				ANSWER:
That response that was like "Do you smoke weed?!" made me laugh way too hard. I doubt it's because you smoke too much weed, and like you said, its most likely hereditary.
You can use concealer to cover up the dark circles and start moisturizing better with a good lotion overnight for the crows feet, but at your age most people just call them smile lines because they disappear when you aren't smiling usually. Either way, it's not a big deal don't worry about it too much, I'm sure no one else really notices :]

how to get rid of crow feet n fine lines around eyes?

				ANSWER:
In Brazil, women use, with very good results, honey mixed with white of the egg. Together, they offer a wonderful natural way of umectating dry skin and at the same time regenerating damaged derme layers. You can use it in the whole face and neck.
You may notice the results since the first time - leave the mixture sit for five minutes and then apply, in delicate movements, directed to the exterior corner of the eyes. Time for the mask works- 20 minutes.

			QUESTION:
How to get rid of wrinkle under eyes?
Just wondered if botox would get rid of them i am 34 they are not crows feet just lines under eyes where dark circles form, if not botox what else would get rid of them, I know its not a major problem but its all i can see when i look in mirror and makeup emphasises them any advice please.

				ANSWER:
There are many great wrinkle creams out there but the ones that work best tend to be very costly. Depending on what country you are in, (Ill assume the US for now), id try some of the medium cost creams that you could get in some department stores ie Macy's , if that doesnt work try some of the higher end creams from cosmetic based stores like Sephora or Ulta.

Botox will definitely clear that up but it is not a permanent fix. "Botox injections typically last between three to four months. An individual patient’s results will vary, but they can expect this approximate amount of effectiveness to the treatment." "Generally, Botox injections cost 0 to 0 per area injected. It is important that you discuss your budget with your surgeon well in advance so that you can make the most informed decisions." (cited below)

That said, Botox is a pretty fast fix but you would be looking at a 1000 or more a year in upkeep for it, so that may make those 100 dollar creams at cosmetic stores more appealing.

Good luck!

Check with your doc...maybe they can do a little bit of collagen (like they do with lips). If you don't want anything that invasive then just invest in some good, eye specific moisturizer.

Also, use eye cream in between your eye brows and forehead. I don't have crow's feet yet but I'm trying to be preventative and I have dry skin so I use a TON of moisturiser!

				ANSWER:
There is no way to get rid of wrinkles that you already have (unless you opt for plastic surgery). No eye cream or other beauty product can remove or reduce them. But, you can prevent new wrinkles by not smoking and staying out of the sun. The #1 cause of wrinkles is smoking and sun damage.

			QUESTION:
What can I do to to get rid of lines underneath my eyes that are just forming?
I am 24 and have begun to notice slight lines appearing under my right eye, what looks like the beginning of crows feet. Any ideas how to stop this? I already use spf every day and wear sunglasses too

				ANSWER:
You are already doing two of the most important things by wearing sunscreen and sunglasses. But there are a few more things you can do.

If you smoke, stop smoking. Smoker's develop crow's feet quicker than those who don't smoke. The smoke from the cigarettes can irritate the eyes and promote squinting. Research shows that the skin of smokers ages much faster than the skin of non=smokers.

To prevent Crow's feet, use an undereye cream that has glycolic acid or vitamin C as an active ingredient.

When you're working at your computer, rest your eyes frequently to avoid eye fatigue and squinting. Also consider getting an anti-glare screen for your monitor.

Keep the undereye area well moisturized. Use soft cotton balls and gentle motions when you apply products to the delicate skin around your eyes.

If crow's feet become a serious problem, see your doctor for a Retin-A prescription. Botox injections are another alternative.

			QUESTION:
lines crows feet im only 12 HELP?
help i ve got dark circles and lines under my eyes and crows feet im only 12 any reasoning for why their there or how to get rid of them please please help
im a girl
im an insomniac (i know i should sleep more but its like i cant i go to bed late and wake up early)
i drink lots of water
no one else in my family has dark circles
and crows feet are the lines in the corners of your eyes
and no im not 62

				ANSWER:
Please, please eat enough and drink enough water. Eat more fruits, especially, because they help wrinkles and lines. And REST. I know that teachers give a lot of homework, but try to get at least 8-9 hours of sleep each night and more on the weekends; your body is growing a lot when you're 12, so you need the energy.

If they still don't go away if you follow all of these instructions, they're probably hereditary/are passed down from your parents. You could always use eye cream to help the wrinkles, I think that helps. A potato slice over each eye area helps the wrinkles, that's a good home treatment you could do right now.

			QUESTION:
Help! Proactiv gave me crow's feet under my eyes! What should I do?
I've been using Proactiv for four days now, even though I don't have that much acne. However, even though I see my acne getting a bit better, the product has given me crow's feet and now I look like an old lady even though I'm young. My face is very dry and looks/feels wrinkly. So, should I discontinue using Proactiv or should I wait a couple more days to see whether my skin conditon should clear up? And how do I get rid of crow's feet? Oh, and should I just start using regular soap and water to wash my face or is there any good products I can use out there- like Noxema?

				ANSWER:
I tried Proactiv and it left tiny little scratches all over my face. I believe the product is simply to harsh for some individuals. Like you, I started to see little signs of damage but kept using it thinking it would get better - - it did not!!!!

I would suggest you stop using it. For the moment I use Aveeno and Oil of Olay soap. You may want to consider using Mary Kay's facial kit. It leaves your skin refreshed and very very smooth. I may go back to it myself. I don't care for their foundation, but the cleansing and moisturizing products are awesome!!!

What is the best way to get rid of undereye puffiness and corner lines?
Hey guys. I was wondering what the best way to get rid of undereye puffiness was? Is the best cure in our own refrigerator or our nearest Wal-Mart? If the latter, names of brand would be appreciated.
Also, how do I get rid of lines on the side of my eyes. I'm not talking crows feet, when I smile the skin on the corner of my eyes tend to crumple up. Is there anything for this?

				ANSWER:
you can't do anything about the lines. It's like having a dimple: it's just there and part of your genetic code. So, in the morning 1) tap your eye gently with your ring finger to displace the fluid. Then, 2) put a cucumber or freezing caffeinated teabags on your eyes for 5 to ten minutes. 3) Drink plenty of water through out the day every day. 4) Use a moisterizing, yet dry concealer that is one shade lighter than your skin. And, 5) if all else fails, try some preparation H cream. I know it's gross, but it helps cool the skin and de-puff it. But, use this if nothing else works.

PS: I use clinique concealer. It's .50 and lasts for atleast one year. have the lady at the counter help find your color

Also about a year ago I noticed I had wrinkles under them too, like really bad crows feet and the wrinkles have gotten worse since then. I tried putting cucumbers over them, but that did nothing. Any other suggestions to get rid of them aside from caking on make up?

				ANSWER:
I just went to a health spa last week and we were talking about dark circles. The practitioner said they are caused by toxins and that if we detox through fruits, veggies, water & herbs, like milk thistle and astralgus they will go away. She said a healthy diet and drinking lots of water is the key.

hello, #1 you aren't getting enough sleep. You could start off by getting a few extra hours of sleep or taking it easy on days when you don't do anything. Try settling down from busy days and relax. After a few days of relaxing and getting more sleep you should see an improvement. If there are still crows feet, bags, puffiness, and lines. You should try some of Avons eye care treatment. It works and it's a great product that takes away all the bags, crows feet, lines ,and puffiness.

			QUESTION:
What could be causing these pimples around my eyes?
I am getting pimples in the area around my eyes where I would have crows feet, I do have a couple wrinkles (45 years old) but not too many. The other day I happened to touch that area and felt 3 or 4 bumps. I did get a couple of them to pop but then another one grew in the same area near my other eye but it doesn't seem to be able to pop like a pimple. It is huge and sore and just wants to sit there under the skin! I have never in my life gotten pimples in that area and I am confused as to why I am getting them now. Has anyone else had this experience and if so how did you get rid of them? I feel almost deformed!
I do wear glasses, but not all the time. I usually wear contacts but sometimes at work I will put on my glasses as well to read fine print.

				ANSWER:
I have a question for you. Do you wear glasses?

Okay, I wear glasses as well, and have the same issue, in the same place, and I am just shy of 43 years old. I have never had that before so I asked my dr., what could be causing the bumps/pimples. He explained, that as we age, and our hormones change or become out of balance, our oil glands react. With wearing glasses, it seemed to stimulate these particular areas, because of the hair that may be in the way, as well as putting them on and off. Seemed odd to me, however the days I don't wear my glasses, it usually clears up more than the days surrounding me wearing them. I don't know, it's all so interesting. I try and keep my glasses clean, and keep my face extra clean in these areas!

I have the same problem, and there isn't much you can do for them. I think it's genetic. :/ There's some different cremes and treatments out there, but I'm not sure if any of them really work.

I use Maybelline Mineral Powder Natural Perfecting Concealer, and I love it! It covers my dark circles really well, and it's fairly inexpensive. You can find it at Walmart and Target for around . QUESTION:
Premature wrinkles, or laugh lines? And how can I get rid of them?
I am 16 years old. I wear makeup nearly every day, all day, because my face is ugly without it, and before, I never had the right makeup remover so I used a regular bar of soap, and I never had toner or moisturizer either. I use baby oil now to remove my makeup, and I try to use cotton pads, but I'm running out, so I'll have to go back to using toilet paper or tissue. =.= I never sleep with my makeup on.
My eyes are very very sensitive and when I rub them a little, it feels like they're burning. Is this because I used the wrong things to wash and remove makeup from my face? I noticed that on the sides of my eyes, there are crows' feet when I laugh, little tiny lines that my concealer sets into on the under sides of my eyelids, and a baggy line under my eyelids. Are these premature wrinkles from not taking care of my face from before, or laugh lines? Is there any way I can reduce them?

				ANSWER:
okay 1st of all get your self some real eye make up remover none of this cheapo baby oil or bar soap!!! that is where the main issue lays oh an cotton balls you can get a big bag at the 1$ store, so once you have the right material do not rub and wipe hard by doing this you are stretching your delicate skin cuz the skin around your eyes is very thin and by removing it that way you were stretching and and pulling your skin, be very gently and lightly pat the area with your real makeup remover I suggest Mary Kay cuz it is the best I have ever used and rub down instead of from side to side and up against the lashes to get off tough mascara then you will prolly have raccoon eyes so lightly rub under the eye from nose to cheek once. now for the crows feet only 2 methods get some anti aging eye cream apply once a night or plastic surgery, But the cream at your age would work just fine because your skin is resilient and should bouncy back into place with the right treatment. you will need a cleanser and moisturizer for your face, as well now bags I have the same issue I use neutrogena radiance boost eye cream reduces the appearance of dark circles and puffiness. but you have to be consistent with everything to fix these issues.

QUESTION:
How to talk to a materialistic girl when to much is to much?
Many years back my childhood friend got breast implants. I'm not the one for plastic surgery to alter your body as a means to make yourself look good. I tried to tell her its not a good idea and costly, and she said she didnt care cause she wants big boobs. So she got the surgery and cause it cost so much she couldnt afford the special bra you wear after so it pushes them together. So now her boobs just look down right fake and are very far apart from each other. Well after that she talked about getting a nose job, i dont think she is ever got it because everyone got mad at her for thinking of it. Well now she is married. From what i hear her new husband is nto as nice as we think, he has told his friends that she has a great body which is perfect but her face is not and sometimes he feels he needs to put a paperbag over her face cause of how unattractive she is. Her told her how her teeth are messed up so she went and had all this dental work done. Somehow now she is getting the nose job she wanted, i guess she mentioned something to him about it and he said yes do it. So now she has this surgery scheduled, and then after she mentioned about the nose he said "also look in chin and jaw reconstruction" so the doctor is going to do both of those surgeries at the same time. Now her boyfriend learned of something with eyebrow lifts and shaping and right now is getting consultation on the doctor about it as well as to get rid of her crows feet wrinkles from tanning. I know she has severe self esteem issues. But right now its getting out of control. I tried to talk to her about all this and all she tells me is "your perfect so you dont know what its like to not to look as good as others" i told her life is not about how pretty or perfect your body or home is. But if thats how you want to choose your path than go for it, but be prepared when some of that plastic surgery doesnt come out the way you wanted. I know her husband is playing a big part in this as he wants his wife to look like barbie and so does she so all eyes are on her. she has already damaged her skin to tanning and looks ten years older than she already is, she has bloaches discoloration all over her chest and arms. Her face looks like someone who has been smoking for years. And the make up she wears forget it. I just dont know how to talk to her anymore? I feel like once she does all this she is going to do something else to alter her body years later. I also feel like her husband is trying to change her to. I know he has cheated on her and denies it, but this is your wife! If you dont like how she looks, like WTF why put her through all this pain, he shouldnt have married her in the first place.

That has to be hard to see a friend go through all of that. There is nothing that you can do but try and be supportive to her. If you and others have already said something to her about the excessive work, nothing will change her mind now. Some people get addicted to it. If she does not know about the cheating you might want to tell her, but I have a feeling that should would not believe you anyway. I feel for you!

				ANSWER:
Some general guidelines for anti aging skin treatment:-

I am appending general guidelines and recommendations( extracted from various online sources) toward anti-aging skin treatment practices.
* Exfoliate: Natural exfoliation process slows down with aging, exfoliation can be supplemented with exfoliation supplements/products.
* Moisturize with Cleansing: Moisturizers hydrate and protect skin from harsh environmental factors such as free radical damage.
* Sunscreen SPF 15 or more: Sunscreens do help prevent hyper-pigmentation (discoloration of skin) and skin damage due to sun rays. Apply every hour, if sweating or in outdoor activity, otherwise use twice a day.
* Make Up Removal: As we sleep, pores enlarge and sweating often occurs. This traps un-removed make up substances and results in break outs.
* Night Cream: The heaviness of night creams can vary. They provide necessary hydration and seal in moisture.
* Exercise/Diet : Drink eight or nine 8-ounce glasses of water every day, eat a proper diet, and exercise three times a week.
* Antioxidant Therapy: Eat a well-balanced diet (with antioxidant-rich foods) and perhaps a topical antioxidant cream.
* Daily Supplements: Use supplements that are rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids (seek your physician's recommendations).

On top of these select some reputed anti-aging brands like LIFECELL or MURAD Skin care products.

				ANSWER:
What exactly are you asking? Obviously she has self-esteem issues... the only way to overcome this i think, is to go to a psychiatrist... I don't think you can tell her anything that will change her mind until she overcomes the disorder she has... it's sad but it's a lot more common that people think. One of my sister's has had breast augmentation, tummy tuck, liposuction and a botched nose job and still she isn't happy with her body... and every thing people tell her she takes as criticism...so there's no way to tell her that her only problem is that she doesn't use the right clothes for her body type; see,she uses clothes that don't fit her and most of the time she wants to use things for 20 year-olds when she's like 36.... And about your friend, someone else suggested to do something about the husband, getting rid of the husband alone won't fix her self-esteem issues.....

I've protected myself from not being out in the sun, if I was I'd play in the shade, swim briefly when the sun had gone down, and covered up from the sun even in the car or anywhere boating.

But guess what . . . . after all that? I still got Discoid Lupus, caused from the sun. So more than ever I am more & more using my wide brim hat when I'm outdoors, or an umbrella. More & more people, I also noticed, they're using sunbrella, patio umbrella, beach umbrella, or rain umbrella when they're walking. Am I being a good role model? Well, in Asia, people use umbrellas all the time, because they're trying to avoid looking like farmers. Dark skinned & wrinkles. In some places like Europe & USA, the darker the skin, the more good looking they look. They think that's beautiful. Pamela Anderson used to be a lovely lady, but she looks older than Shannen Doherty, and they're just 2 years apart. Shannen has nice skin, and I'm almost in my 60's, and yesterday, the new receptionist at my doctor's office thought Im still in my 30's.

Wrinkles are caused from too much sun, too much swimming, long baths (quick showers are best), hot tubs, saunas and even from the heat from the sun while driving/walking I get flakey even when protected.

If you've been burned from the sun before the age of 18, you get freckles. Freckles or moles - if continued to get burned as you get older - will get bumpier & darker.

I use gloves many times, instead of washing my hands for: gardening, involving paper work, cleaning, washing dishes, kitchen preparations. During winter, spring, fall outdoors I use leather gloves, also to prevent germs in contact.

Sorry, once there you can't take them off. You can by laser treatment, but like tattoo removal, it takes at least 12 sessions but THEY HURT LIKE . . .

The price of beauty is another money making business, like hair, it's a billion dollar business and they make promises they can't keep, there's no money-back guarantee if you get sickER or if your hair is damaged. Hair like skin, needs to be protected at all times.

			QUESTION:
I need some serious help and I'm admitting it.?
I have too many things always going though my head and I'm tired of living this way. I'm 21. I have spent my whole life overthinking and trying to be perfect. A couple years I started getting tattoos, I have a whole arm that I love, minus one that I regret and nothing can be done with it. Even though I have a ton I love, the one mistake I made is constatnly on my mind as controls my thoughts. Other than this, I just always think about things and I just want to be happy. My skin is also red and it neve rused to be like that, and I have no ideal how to get rid of it. I have bags under my eyes that won't go away. laugh lines that are pretty much big crows feet. Other people I know have imperfections such as a couple bad tattoos but it diden't ruin there life...and suddenly I started thinking too much about everything. I just want to be happy and get my life back to normal with no red skin or constant fatigue. And I think my life went too far down the drain to save myself...

				ANSWER:
Me too but, I am 16. I am still trying to convince myself to start putting effort into my life again. One thing that helps is nature. Autumn is coming and for some reason that seems enough. I know it is illogical but, it just gives me that feeling that this is worth it. I don't want to feel bad. I want to be able to walk through the woods. The experts say exercises and sunlight helps.
I would ask separate questions on YA for the skin problems. Breaking problems down into easy parts will make it seem less overwhelming.
Looking at quotes works for some people.

			QUESTION:
Could you reccomend? Doesnt matter if you can only help me with one! *pls help*?
1. A face moisturiser, that helps fight imperfections for combination skin! (Dry nose, oily everywhere else)
Also, anti-wrinkle. I know im young, but i have got some already! And would like to prevent them!

2. A gradual moisturising fake tan (im pretty pale) that i can put on at night, and wear a skirt the next day and not have to fix it or touch it up ususally?

3. Foundation thats good for combo skin, stays on all day, preferably with sunscreen.

It doesnt matter if you cant reccomend all, even one helps heaps.

4. Oh and who has got great results on stretch marks with bio oil?

5. A cream that shrinks pores? I have really big pores now.
I got blackheads all over my nose they arent raised, but are like open pores with black inside.
How do i get rid of them?
I exfoliate everyday. it isnt helping. So should i get a pore minimising face thing?

6. And an eye-cream for nights so my eyes look refreshed every morning, and i dont get crows feet!

thanks xx

				ANSWER:
If you have blackheads on your nose, your skin is not dry , it is probably dehydrated. Look for a moisturizer with salicylic acid in it, it exfolliates the skin including into the pore level. It is the only ingredient that gets into pores. This one from Neutrogena is both anti-aging and has salicylic acid: http://www.neutrogena.com/ProductsDetails_119.asp?lProductLineID=1

If your nose is still dry after that, you may need to use a cream for dehydrated skin on it. It will add water back to your skin, not oil. You can't actually shrink your pores and product claiming you can are using false advertising. But by keeping them clear, they will appear smaller.

			QUESTION:
I'm 13 and I already have wrinkles! Tips and answers?
I'm 13 and I have wrinkles... already. They aren't bad compared to people old enough to start getting some wrinkles but I shouldn't have them at my age. I have crows feet, lines on my forehead, lines around my mouth where I smile, and a wrinkle under each of my eyes. I don't know why I have them because I don't go put in the sun much, I don't think I smile more than the average person, I sleep about 8 hours each night, I don't rub or pull on my skin a lot, and I take proper care of it. I know I'm way too young to be worried about wrinkles but I'm also way too young to have them. Why do I have wrinkles and how do I get rid of them?

				ANSWER:
make sure to moisturize more, especially when you get out of the shower.
also, when you wash your face, massage your face to get the blood flowing.
learning how to stretch your facial muscles could also help.

Forehead Wrinkles Treatment: Surgical And Natural

Wrinkles are like a dreaded disease that all of us would not want to have. Forehead wrinkles, in particular, make people especially because they are closely associated with worry and distress. Most people would spend a fortune to just stay young and look young.

How exactly do these creases form and how to prevent them? Wrinkles come with age and whether we like it or not, there will really come a time when our skin will crumple and sag. As we grow older, collagen, the protein connective tissue that supports our skin, starts to degenerate resulting to the loss of skin's elasticity. Aside from aging, too much sun, poor diet, smoking, drinking alcohol and stress are the other major causes of fine lines and wrinkles. The sun's ultra violet rays, toxins, pollutants and free radicals cause great damage to the skin and therefore should be avoided. Stress, on the other hand, causes chemical reactions inside our body which also causes skin's collagen to shed off. Cortisol, the "stress hormone" is activated and injected into the bloodstream damaging the collagen tissue and takes away the skin's natural suppleness.

Before you even think that wrinkles are a hopeless case, here are the common treatments and preventions of wrinkles or "worry lines:"

First on the long list is the traditional surgical face lift. Notwithstanding the fading popularity of this type of treatment because of the huge amount of investment involved, it still remains an option for some people. Aside from being the most expensive, this type is also the most risky. This surgical procedure is designed to erase the most obvious evidences of aging by draining excess fats, tightening the muscles beneath the affected skin and removing sagging skin. A perfect facelift can take five to ten years off your actual age and make you more attractive.

Botox, the brand name for the cosmetic form of botulinum toxin, is also a popular non-surgical injection that temporarily eliminates or reduces frown lines, forehead creases and crow's feet. However, botox will not be able to respond to wrinkles caused by sun damage.

Laser resurfacing is a relatively new treatment for reducing facial wrinkles and other skin irregularities, such as acne scars and blemishes. The lasers used could be carbon dioxide or erbium, and which remove thin layers of the skin with minimal heat damage to the surrounding structures. Recovery time from this procedure is up to two weeks.

Anti-wrinkle creams and lotions are what other people, who either can't afford or are afraid of surgical procedures, resort to. It would be best, however, not to be fooled by advertisement because not all types of skin respond to the same substance or product. Consulting with an expert will not hurt and will even guarantee optimum result with the use of a cream that's perfect for your skin type.

Eating healthy foods like fresh fruits and vegetables are also vital to a proactive approach in wrinkle prevention. Fibers from these foods will help eliminate toxins from the body, resulting to a glowing skin.

With a combination of any of these available treatments and preventive measures, we can say goodbye to forehead wrinkles and crow's feet. It is best to start you ng and be proactive, though. The saying which goes ""an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure"" applies to wrinkle management.

				ANSWER:
The most important thing is to wash and moisturize your face everyday. I recommend Cetaphil cleaser and lotion.

Try getting a facial...and if that is a good look for you...invest in a sonic facial system like the Clarisonic Mia. It will make your skin look like you've just had a facial everyday.

You could diet to get rid of the double chin.

Natural Ways To Get Rid Of Wrinkles

Are you looking for natural ways to get rid of wrinkles? If yes, then read on because you're going to learn many simple and easy ways of getting rid of wrinkles that will help you to look younger and more youthful looking.

Diet

One of the most important ways to get rid of wrinkles is to eat healthy. This means eating a diet full of whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables. You should also cook in olive oil, which can protect your skin against oxidative stress. This can retard or reverse the aging process, and in fact, it might be a good idea for you to include salmon and natural sources of Vitamin C such as grapes, in your diet too. Eating blueberries is also a natural way to get rid of wrinkles. They contain antioxidants that can fight skin-damaging free radicals. And yes, if you want your skin to look more youthful, drink lots of water. Drinking lots of water helps to keep your skin fresh and youthful looking as it aids in keeping the skin naturally hydrated and supple.

Massage

Facial massage is also another excellent way to get rid of wrinkles. Not only does it helps your face retain its elasticity, but it also helps keeps wrinkles at bay and relaxes the muscles in the face by stimulating the blood vessels of your skin.

If you have bags under your eyes, try this exercise. Place your fingertips below your eyebrows and lift your eyelids. Press your upper lids down, and hold your fingertips in position and count to five. Relax and then repeat. How's that for a natural way to get rid of wrinkles?

Quit Smoking

Apart from the above, another way to retain a youthful look is giving up smoking if you are a smoke. Researchers have discovered that smoking can cause premature wrinkling of the skin. Not only that, but it can also minimize the moisture in your skin and rob it of its elasticity. This is why many smokers often have wrinkles around their mouths and eyes.

Get Moderate Amounts Of Sunlight

By protecting your skin from excessive exposure to sunlight, you can protect your skin from the ultraviolet rays which can damage the middle layer of the skin. Excessive amounts of sun may limit the moisture content in the skin and cause wrinkles to the face and other exposed parts of your body. If you are going to be outdoors for extended periods of time, you may want to consider carrying an umbrella and applying moisturizer before leaving home.

Forget The Tanning Salon

The ultraviolet light of tanning salons can affect your skin drastically and give you wrinkles prematurely, not to mention a possibility of skin cancer too. If you want to develop a beautiful tan, get it naturally, by spending moderate amounts of time outdoors. Not only will you acquire a naturally, beautiful tan, but it is also a way for you to get a good amount of Vitamin D, which your body needs to function properly.

			QUESTION:
Primer, Foundation- What is my skin type and what to use?
I'm 22, pale ivory complexion, really long wavy golden blond hair, I had really bad acne from ages 10-17, and embarrassing adult acne, I have big pours, blackheads occasionally, and a couple of craters on my face, I have oily skin, sometimes dry, acne prone skin, that seemingly can't wear non-pour clogging make-up because it gets into her premature wrinkles, specially the ones on my forehead.

I have a red spot that I don't know what it is on my nose, it is VERY RED and I've had it since Dec 08. The area is flat and really dark at the center. There's not bump or recession of the skin, so what on earth could this be and is there anyway I can get rid of it, other then that my complexion is even. I can't see a dermatologist, don't have the $. I read spend generously on your foundation, like how much? I spent .00 on mine :/ 0.00 make up purchase total for the basics.. that's generous when you don't have it.

Primer: Revlon, Beyond Natural SP15/FPs15 - caked my skin worse then not wearing it

Foundation: Tried a liquid to powder oil free compact one from Max Factor and at another time tried Bare Naturale gentle mineral foundation- loose powder, both are cakey....

Concealer: Almay Clear complexion I like, for dotting my red dot, but it's not very concealing sometimes. Maybelline highlight and concealer is nice but cakey, Maybelline cover stick concealer is really nice, but cakes into my wrinkles under my eye.

Finish: Jane oil-free powder seems to be the only NON caker? Or perhaps it cakes on top of the caking, lol.

Bronzer: Jane summer glow gel bronzer oil free tube makes a bunch of black spots come out of my face, like my eyeshadow just crusted all over me.. not a functional bronzer for me.

Blush: Advice? Haven't gone this far yet.

Eye makeup: What do you recommend for my light complexion, prominent or normal looking eye shape with more green in it then there is blue and gray.

Exfoliants: Aveeno clear complexion daily cleansing pads-prevents breakouts, exfoliates for clear even-looking skin, one side removes makeup the other exfoliates.( Pre-moistened, self-foaming, dual textured, soap free, oil free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic, alcohol-free) Just got it, used once, didn't break out/burn/dry out = GOOD. Also Biore poor perfect Pore minimizing exfoliator, haven't had a noticable problem with it. Olay exfoliating whips are PAINFUL for me.

Cleanser: Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser, reduces appearance of poor and refines skin. I don't know if this leads me to break out sometimes.

Olay complete: All day moisturizer SP15 - half the time causes me to break out after putting it on and burns half the time.

Believe it or not, I've come a long way.. with seemingly a long way to go, please help me with your best advice. Thank you for your time.

What is causing all this caking, running, and clogging with my skin?

				ANSWER:
The oils in the makeup are mixing with the oils in your skin and causing alot of backup and caking .

The makeup most likely just settles right into your pores , You need a cleanser that has Salicylic acid in it , or Benzoyl peroxide .
Also exfoliating your skin while you have active pustules can spread the bacteria around your skin creating more problems.

But exfoliating blackheads / white heads is a good idea so but try to avoid the pustules obviously.

I also suggest getting a clay based mask to use on your face twice a week .

As for makeup , mineral based foundation powders is the best bet , it might not stay on all day but it will be gentle on your skin .

			QUESTION:
How to get rid of crows feet?
i have baggy dark circles under my eyes any way to get rid of them, and fast?

				ANSWER:
Get enough sleep..... I think that works the best for me...

SOURCE(S): Consultant with many years research into safe, natural cures/treatments - skin conditions, skin enhancement, anti aging and rejuvenation treatments

I don't know what it is with my wife, but I notice that she is starting to get crows feet around her eyes and I think it is disgusting. Its to the point where I want her to wear makeup when we go to bed and right after she takes a shower. I wont even shower with her anymore. There has to be something that will get rid of them or else I think I am going to be required to get rid of her. Is there any hope or is divorce the only way out. Incase I do get a divorce, what signs can I look for while dating a girl to ensure she doesnt have any wrinkles. Thanks!

Good luck!

				ANSWER:
That has to be hard to see a friend go through all of that. There is nothing that you can do but try and be supportive to her. If you and others have already said something to her about the excessive work, nothing will change her mind now. Some people get addicted to it. If she does not know about the cheating you might want to tell her, but I have a feeling that should would not believe you anyway. I feel for you!

				ANSWER:
You can't un-wrinkle grapes once they turned into raisins.
I knew about this at age 9.

I have really bad dark circles around my eyes. How do I get rid of them?
I wear concealer under them but people say they can still see them and are constantly telling me to get more sleep, even though I sleep fine. I just went to a health spa last week and we were talking about dark circles. The practitioner said they are caused by toxins and that if we detox through fruits, veggies, water & herbs, like milk thistle and astralgus they will go away. She said a healthy diet and drinking lots of water is the key.

				ANSWER:
If used correctly by a plastic surgeon or dermatologist, it can be wonderful for fine lines. But it does have side effects. Because it is made from a very harmful germ, it could make you ill, very rare. Its most most common side effect is paralyzing the nerves of the face. Look on WEB MD.com for a full list. Most of all, talk with your doctor and ask about the side effect, how long the injections last ( 6-9 months, on average), and what to expect in terms of how your face will look as the injection absorbs into the tissue.
It is your face, your body. As a patient, it is your RIGHT to know all the facts, and if you do not get the answers to these questions, see someone else.
As for yes or no, only you can answer that. First, get the facts.

			QUESTION:
Your Acne and Anti-Aging Skin Care Questions Answered?
Whether you lament about breakouts and acne scars, curse crows feet and marionette lines, or worry about sunburns and melanoma (take this quiz to see if that suspect mole might be cancer ), we're here to quell your skin fears. How? We're bringing Dr. Ronald Moy to you (well, not literally, but …) -- a renowned dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon with a practice in Beverly Hills, Calif. According to Moy, these are the questions you should ask your derm and we couldn't help but ask him for answers (in case you don't have one or can't afford one):
1. How do I know if I'm aging well or not?
Determining how well you're aging is really about assessing how much sun damage you have, says Dr. Moy. So if you are more of a sun worshiper, then you probably aren't aging as well as someone who avoids the sun. Aging skin woes like wrinkles and splotchyness are really just results of sun damage. However, he says that things like topical retinoid creams, Botox and fillers can counter signs of aging (if you're open to going that route). See if your lifestyle is causing your wrinkles.
2. How do I know if I'm ready for Botox or not?
If you see lines and they bother you, then you could be ready. It most likely won't be necessary in your early 20s, says Dr. Moy, but it really depends on how much you smile, squint, frown, scrunch your forehead, etc. and -- wait for it -- how much time you spend in the sun. Generally speaking though, you might be ready for Botox in your 30s. Take this quiz to find out.

3. How can I avoid getting skin cancer?
We all know that wearing sunscreen and hats or just staying out of the sun all together are some no-brainer ways to prevent skin cancer, but Dr. Moy shares a new finding with us. He says that using a night cream that contains DNA repair enzymes can reduce your overall risk of skin cancer by 30-50 percent. But before you go using that, check out the 15 sunscreen mistakes you're likely making.
4. What's the best sunscreen to use?
It seems counterintuitive since there are a ton of different types of sunscreens on the market, but recent studies have shown that melanoma is on the rise and UVA rays are responsible for this potentially deadly form of skin cancer. (FYI, tanning beds are pure UVA rays -- eek -- thank goodness for the tanning tax, maybe it'll save us from our tan-obsessed selves.) Well, Dr. Moy explains that a lot of older sunscreens block UVB not UVA rays, which creates a false sense of security (we are all more likely to soak up the sun with SPF on, but in reality if we're not blocking UVA rays we are getting sun damage). He says to ensure that you're protected, use an SPF that blocks UVA and UVB rays such as Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 100+ with Helioplex, .99. Check out some more winners from this list of highly-rated facial sunscreens .
5. What can I do to make myself look better?
Dr. Moy says that there are four different types of procedures that can help make you look better -- who are we kidding -- younger. Ask your dermatologist if you are a good candidate for one or any of the following:
a. Resurfacing procedures
b. Fillers (See which facial filler is right for you.)
c. Tightening or lifting procedures
d. Botox or relaxing procedures
6. What's causing my acne?
While it's common knowledge that clogged pores and bacteria can cause acne, Dr. Moy explains what else it could be and what to do about it:
Hormones: Your acne could be elicited by your birth control pill, so getting rid of your skin imperfections could be as simple as switching to a different pill.
Diet: Acne has been linked to sugar and dairy, so you could try cutting back on both to see if your diet is triggering your breakouts.
Stress: Leave it to good ol' stress to manifest itself in ugly ways like zits. Take this quiz to see if stress is the culprit, and if so, then try these easy tips for reducing stress and tension.
