The Best Wrinkle Creams Are All Natural

For many, investing any time and money into wrinkle creams or other skin care products is superficial and an absolute waste of money. While it may be true that some people are wasting their money on products that do not work, there are others who are investing their time and money wisely into working, natural wrinkle cream products. These people who are taking advantage of natural wrinkle creams are not only giving a boost to their self-confidence, but they are also taking steps to maintain a healthier lifestyle in general for themselves. Skin that looks healthy is a reflection of health within. In the following article, we will review some important information that you must know about natural wrinkle creams.

There are a myriad of different wrinkle cream products on the market and they all claim to work wonders for you and your skin. Unfortunately, most of these claims are completely untrue. The fact is that major cosmetic companies would rather market products that are made with cheap, harmful ingredients because it is the best option for them. All in all, these types of companies acting in this way are merely showing consumers that they care more about their profits than their product's safety. This is not business-like of any company and people are catching on to this trend quickly. After many scientific studies were conducted on wrinkle creams that include harsh chemicals, the results have clearly shown that these ingredients are very harmful. Some of these harsh chemical ingredients are even linked to different kinds of cancers. Amazingly, there are still large cosmetic companies that produce these harmful wrinkle creams and other skin care products with the chemicals still included. If you want your skin and your body to be healthy, you need to choose a wrinkle cream that is made with all natural ingredients.

The best natural wrinkle creams will be able to provide natural ingredients that stimulate the production of collagen and elastin in the skin. A good natural wrinkle cream will also boost the levels of hyaluronic acid. Nearly all natural wrinkle creams are rich in antioxidants, which is a must for any good skin care product. Antioxidants will help your skin to protect itself naturally. Moisturizing of the skin is another important job that the best natural wrinkle creams can accomplish. The best ingredients to enhance collagen production are Matrixyl, Renovage, Sesaflash, Stem Cells, and Haloxyl. These ingredients are all natural and have been proven many times to be the most effective solution to stimulating collagen and elastin production.

  2. QUESTION:
    Men, which would you prefer?
I saw an advert for a men's face cream today, promising all the usual things, less wrinkles, taking care of your skin, improved appearance, etc and it seems to me that the beauty regime has turned its attention to the male half of the species.

For a long time, it was believed that men prefered women who were young and good looking because it showed proof of their fertility. Yet now it seems that men are coming under the same pressure to appear, young, slim and attractive.

So, with all the anxieties, ill-health, wasted money and obsession over looks that men will now be subject to, which would you prefer...

To give up the whole idea of the beauty regime for men and for women - both will simply enjoy looking healthy and natural, and be unafraid to show their true appearance, or signs of ageing.

Or - to keep the beauty regime for the sake of being able to admire beautiful, well maintained women, even if it means you have to now up your game by spending money on creams, cosmetics, skin firming sessions, hair removal, etc etc?

If you had to choose between joining in the beauty game, or abandoning it altogether, which would you prefer? :-)
The Wright Stuff - I do agree, but it all depends on what men do now - buy into it, or reject it, which do you think that will be? :-)

    • ANSWER:
Great question Elle. I was thinking about something related to this today.

To answer your question I would rather we allow both men and women to age naturally. But more to the point I would love to see women retain as much value in society as men do when both get older.

Now what is this related to that I was thinking about? Well, there's been much discussion in GWS about whether monogamy is biological or a social construct. I came to a conclusion today that men and women both feel pressured to get married and have kids while they are at their physical and aesthetic peak. It's worse for women because women have been conditioned to be monogamous from a young age whereas it's always been thought of as the norm for men to trade in an older woman for a younger one ala the mid-life crisis. I believe the ideal construct would be for both genders to enjoy their sexual freedom until their youth is spent and then resign themselves to one mate at a more mature age once their youth and beauty have waned. I believe older newlyweds would value each other more equally and we'd have less running around, less dirty old men buying sex from sugar babies, and less age stigmatism.

There's something else I've been wondering about as well. As women become more financially prominent will we start to see more older women with gigolos, and men on the side of their aging husbands? Will the gigolos and boytoys feel more pressure to maintain a hardbody, with fewer wrinkles? Is the economic disadvantage that women have been facing limiting their oppurtunities to exploit young buff men in the same way that their male counterparts have by buying younger women ? Will this become a common scenario for both sexes once older women obtain the same economic stance as older men?

Lastly should we as a society be doing more to encourage young women to be self-reliant and independent so that exploiting the young of either gender will be considered less acceptable in the future? I personally don't want to see a gender neutral world full of lecherous dirty old men and women alike.

  3. QUESTION:
Why does it seem that so many people these days are afraid to look older? To look their age?
Plastic surgery and all sorts or creams and pills that rejuvenate the physical appearance are increasingly popular. These types of products are heavily advertised and marketed almost as a necessity for everyone. Even on Y/A lately there are several ads that show pictures of elderly people with a warning that says "don't look like this!" linking users to sites in order to purchase whatever "miracle" product they have to offer.

I find it really rather extreme, sad and wasteful that so many people are willing to under go major (unnecessary) surgery and apply/ingest all sorts of chemicals and toxins just to look unnaturally youthful.

My question is why are people so afraid to look old or look their age? It is natural for people to get wrinkles and gray or silver hairs in time. Why does it seem like the majority are trying so hard to hide or reverse the natural effect of time on appearance? What is your opinion on this fascination that many have with looking young? (And it's not just women but men also. There seems to be more and more beauty products and surgeries for men these days.)

    • ANSWER:
I think media has a huge part to play in this. Look at some of the stars out there. Will do anything to stay looking youthful. I personally would rather grow old gracefully then have surgery after surgery to the point where my face doesn't function right.

  4. QUESTION:
Could someone look over this English Essay?
From the beginning of mankind, beauty and cosmetics have always been significant. A "cosmetic" is a substance applied to a person's body to promote attractiveness or alter appearance1. If you had not known this fact, then you most likely have been living under a rock all your life and are clueless to reality. Now, I am not saying we live in a completely vain society, because if you go back to any time in history--the higher your level of beauty, the higher your status in religion, society, and wealth. Archaeologists have determined that the use of cosmetics has been around as early as the Ancient Egyptians, but to be honest, who is to say that beauty products have not been around longer? Nevertheless, the need to look attractive or beautiful has seemingly been crucial to society since the birth of men, and woman of course.

The Ancient Egyptians are a prime example of a society that revolves around beauty. The expression "cleanliness is next to Godliness" derived from this time, because they believed that if you display beauty by your physical appearance and scent, then that directly determined your level of spirituality2. The Ancient Egyptians used natural formulas made of oils, fat and minerals to overcome their skin's challenges. They made cosmetic products to get rid of stretch marks, shrink wrinkles, get rid of scars and make hair grow, as well as eye makeup, face creams, body oils, perfumes and fragrances.3 “Necessity is the mother of invention”4 was a crucial term that made emphasis on looking beautiful that Egyptian woman found a way method to achieve their look using Mesdemet. The "cat eye", made famous by the Egyptians, was eye makeup applied to the eye in the form of a wing, and mesdemet and Kohl were their secret weapons.5 Mesdemet was an eyeshadow –- a combination of copper and lead ore, which was originally green, but black became popular also and had been thought to have health-giving properties, such as a disinfectant and an insect repellent. Then Kohl used as an eyeliner, made of a mixture of burnt almonds, oxidized copper, lead and ocher, was applied with a small twig. The dark colours used on the eyes reflect back on their spiritual beliefs, as it did not only enhance their appearance but it warded off "evil eyes", to which means those who have the power to glare at you, and can inflict injury or pain.6 Due to the large quantity of insects in Egypt, the Egyptians had shaved their heads and assembled or purchased wigs. One thing that separated the upper class from the lower class in Ancient Egypt were the wings. Upper class people could afford to buy wigs made of human hair, while cheaper wigs were made of vegetable fibers, wool or small grouped strands of hair – much similar to our modern hair extensions – were woven through the hair. 7 As time moved forward, Greeks and Romans became more involved with the Egyptians, therefore the connection between spirituality and cosmetics changed, such as beauty products becoming an aphrodisiac, meaning to arouse sexual pleasure. However, cosmetics being used for vanity had not changed, but the new Roman lifestyle had no boundaries and far less morals with their mud and crocodile excrement baths and nail polish solely made of sheep fat and blood.8
Now say we fast-forward in time, would things be different? Very much so. During the Middle Ages, the "pale face" was the new fad.9 This look defined your place in society as those who were tanned, were citizens who had to work in the fields for a living, compared to those who were rich and had no reason to go outside.10 Both woman and men used a powder made of hydroxide, carbonate, and lead oxide which caused many people to get lead poisoning, but since being beautiful was important, they had later found an alternative – zinc oxide.11 Many people would use a blue-tinted paint to draw faint blue lines on their foreheads and key areas to give them a translucent appearance. Rouges and red powders had been applied to the cheeks, for a flushed appearance which promoted youth, and sexual arousal especially when contrasted against white skin.12 Another odd cosmetic practice was blackening teeth for a rotting appearance.13 If someone were wealthy, they could afford sugar. So with plenty of sugar and no basic hygiene, including a toothbrush, many rich people's teeth would rot over time.
As time advanced to the 1920s, the “washed-out” look carried on, however both fashion and cosmetic trends began to change in 1923, when the infamous French fashion designer, Coco Chanel went on a cruise along the French Riviera, where she accidentally encountered a tan.14 After that, the “tanned” look became popular, as it became a modern symbol of wealth and status, as those who were rich enough to go on a vacation in temperate and tropical climates. The ‘tanned’ look replaced the pale look, as tanning oils and bronzers were being produced along with “skimpie
    ... “skimpier” fashion trends.

Many people in the society look to make-up as being a necessity, while many wonder how it ever became significant. Truth is, it has always had an importance on this planet since the beginning of time. It has been used to show a status of spirituality, wealth, vanity, health and entertainment. From Ancient Egypt to Europe during the Middle Ages to the 1920s – nationwide - the world of beauty and cosmetology will continue to expand and grow beyond its 'limits' with new trends, beliefs and significance. Its reasons for being may evolve over time, but its purpose will always looped around one general idea – beauty.

    • ANSWER:
Right off the bat.. "If you had not known this fact, then you most likely have been living under a rock all your life and are clueless to reality." Is this for school? Sentences like this one have no place in an essay for school. It is also kind of insulting. Your tone is way to conversational and informal for something for an English class or any other class except for maybe creative writing! The content is interesting though, so you've got that going for you. But remember that you must cite your sources for every bit of information that you use in your essay that you didn't think of all by yourself (just about everything in this essay).

  5. QUESTION:
My Fiance' looks older, she needs help looking younger?
The first thing I want to say to all the woman out their is this. I LOVE THIS GIRL!!! I gave her a ring 4 months ago.

Having said that, her looks have always been an issue. Not enough to keep me from falling for her. She is already 6 years older than I am. She is in her 40's. It hurts me to say this but she looks at least 50. She has made comments before about how her friends think I look "so young" and she will look in the mirror and go "yuck" once in a while. I know she would like to look younger. But how do I do anything about that???

I need to aproach this with some tact. Its not like I can say "MAN do you look old". I wouldnt be able to live with myself if I did that. But I do need help with what to do. I know face creams have come a long way. They can take away wrinkles and make you look younger. I am against plastic surgery (an she is as well) so I need an all natural solution.

What should I do and how should I approach it without coming off like I am a jerk? THANKS!!!

    • ANSWER:
Is she a smoker? It's a proven fact that the skin of smokers shows signs of aging faster. Same with folks who bake themselves in the sun. So if either of those are issues, you don't have much hope. But if they're not...

How about surprising her with a trip to a day spa? It would be a great treat. Just that kind of relaxing atmosphere can make a person look younger. Also, they can help her develop a good skin care regimen which may help.
